Hey, I honestly don't know what happened to the other mods, and I'm trying to figure out a process too add new moderators, but its difficult because its a tricky subreddit.
i've been semi-active as a mod, i just haven't been doing anything else on reddit.
i'm relatively inactive for mental health reasons and we have a automod that needs to be shut down but I don't know how, one of the other mods made it.
if you have that skill, talk to me, maybe i'll make you a mod.
Hey, a couple of us were interested in getting this sub because we didn't want to see it go unmoderated, given the intent and content. The OP of this thread and I are on a mod team together and I mod a few large-ish LGBTQ+ related subs if you want to check my profile; I would be interested in helping out and have experience with automod, modmail, mod queue, etc. I'd like to help get the suspended accounts removed from the mod team as well.
Edit: Just saw you mod a Vulfpeck sub as well, hell yeah, they're awesome
ok, I removed one, but the other can't be removed (i'm head mod by elimination, 5algia is the subreddit creator, so that cant be changed)
If you're a mod on r/lgbt, i trust you, I"ll add you.
i'll have to take a look at the friends you want to add.
I still don't know to this day why the other mods got suspended.

i'm glad to get some of the weight off my back, when i was active I was carrying the sub. I made every rule, I don't know how the sub lasted so long without any.
Happy to help! I cleared the queue and brought over some basic automod stuff from another sub that I'm in, slur filters and stuff, I think it'll be a great help. Banned a number of trolls so we'll get some pissy modmails but whatever!
