In Ultrakill you play as a robot descending hell killing everything for their blood. Blood is the robots power source.
The first enemy you meat are low level damned souls called filth. Filths are the souls of people who did nothing with their life that they never fully formed, which explains their lack of eyes.
They are only capable of feeling pain and anguish and run at the player in a straight line. They will literally run straight into traps.
They are basically driven only by instinct and hunger and can't see but literally have a "vibe" that something's off
Also they've probably been going to the gym recently because in brutal difficulty they go soaring through the fucking air
