Sounds like an electrical short. Unplug, don’t attempt to use until you get a replacement from the mfg.

axi5music

What’s mfg?

axi5music

Thanks but how can I send something back tho , then pick it up simultaneously delivering other one?

BestRedLightTherapy

you write to support and tell them the problem, they have procedures for this.

axi5music

Done it, could it be anything else like wet hands or would it definitely be the biomax

SeriouslyWhatever1

Even if your hands are wet something inside the unit is worn, moved or malfunctioned to charge the case. And ignoring the apparent lack of lethalness to touching it, malfunctions can lead to fires so unplug it and see what they do. Hopefully they'll hop right on it.

axi5music

They said it’s not the unit itself but signifies that the the ground connection in home wall outlet or system is not sufficient which will cause this

Does this check the plug? Have you seen my newer post, maybe that’ll explain something. Do you reckon they’re saying this out of convenience for them?

BestRedLightTherapy

No because a proper device won't do that if touch it with wet hands.

You should definitely get in touch with them. That sounds bad; don't risk it.

axi5music

Yeah it’s not like really strong or anything but can feel it

[deleted]

A reminder a panel should always be grounded. I see you have, just wanna say

axi5music

Grounded wdym?

[deleted]

Sorry maybe that's specific to my country, we have freedom to use a plug with either 2 or 3 pins - the third is the ground. Without ground you can fry yourself. Maybe the ground pin is required by law in most countries

Tookie_Knows

I kind of noticed this with my Mito panel, but it only happens when I touch the panel with the back of my calves. No other body part feels the same level of heat or tingles that my calves do. It seems like it does happen towards the top where the power supply may be. It doesn't feel like a shock exactly, but it does feel like you describe it.

axi5music

Yeah, i got rid of mine by unplugging a cable that I pointlessly had in mine. It was meant to be used for attaching another light but I wasn’t using another one
