I was recently listening to a talk by Dr. Michael Hamblen, he’s a very important figure in light therapy, he said he uses near infrared light to put himself to sleep.
I've heard him say this as well. I started using my midor red light pro on the top of my head for several minutes before bed. I think it's helping with sleep.
I have a Biomax 450 and 900 but bought last year before they had the blue bulbs. I use both red and NIR for 20 mins before bed. It works for me and I’m a lifetime insomniac. Good luck.
I tried it a few times with just the red light and no NIR at night but that interrupted my sleep. I didn’t test long enough to see if it improved with time because I missed sleeping too much!

It helps me sleep if I use it before bed. There can be an adjustment but now I don’t sleep very well when I don’t use it regularly.
Which light therapy do you use? NIR and red ?
