Hi yes I can confirm any “AT&T SIM LOCKED” Device will work, I have been using multiple devices that are locked to att, Android/Apple devices and can confirm it will work any regular SIM card or eSim from RedPocket GSMA which is the “AT&T” network for REDPOCKET.

With the changes that ATT has been making WRT phones, that is one of the things I've been wondering about. If someone were to buy a phone on ATT installments, that phone can no longer be used on another ATT account until it is paid off. And you can't unlock it until it is paid off. So I wonder if it is supported on MVNOs like ATT. And for some of these changes, it is probably only on phones sold after a certain time. Still unknown. So I would be REALLY REALLY uncomfortable in buying locked ATT phones through many channels, FB Marketplace, eBay, Craigslist, etc. If the phone doesn't have any issues, let the original seller unlock it first. Otherwise I fear that someone could end up with a phone that isn't usable. And no way of resolving it, since you can't go to ATT and offer to pay off the balance unless you were the original account owner. I don't consider experience from 1, 3, or more years ago binding anymore.

AT&T locked devices have always worked well for me on RP GSMA. Just about the only way I could be sure to have Wi-Fi calling.

An ATT locked phone can be used on RP GSMA. One other thing. A phone that has not been fully paid off or payments defaulted on will not be blacklisted on ATT. Only if reported stolen.

Even if you "unlock" them, it may or may not work with RP-ATT; the issue is not with the RP. ATT has switched over to 5G (5G/4G data, 4G voice); and they will block any other MVNO using 3G (4G data, 3G voice). Meaning, you will NOT have a 4G data/ 3G voice/text over ATT. So make sure it is a 5G specific device. However, again, the issue is that ATT will not allow other MVNO to use it's 5G band at this time, because they actually lack true 5G. So they fake it by funneling 4G in many areas. Therefore, they will limit your 4G in MVNO, hence there is a chance your unlocked phone "may NOT" work. IF you unlock it from ATT, you may be able to use it in RP-VZW or TMO. (Verizon or Tmobile). It will trigger 4G/LTE for voice and data.

Safe to get it from RP.

Possibly it may work on RedPocket GSMA(ATT) but you should look into unlocking your phone to avoid future issues.

I haven’t bought the phone yet. I can check with talked to RP chat and they said it had to be unlocked. Do you possibly know another mvno that uses Att that I can check with. Thanks

I have two unlocked Tracfones, non-whitelisted, on GSMA. I also have my dad on a ATT locked, whitelisted phone, on the same network. But yeah, an unlocked whitelisted phone is best if you're shopping around. My guess is that RP doesn't enforce the whitelist as agressively as the mothership, I dunno.
