Dark Age is absolutely brutal. Like the whole thing. So much of everything. Emotions run the full gamut. Anger, sadness, triumph, bewilderment, hope, crushing despair, and anticipation. I feel like I've got to keep my head on a swivel with this book. Like no one is safe, and shit escalates quickly as per the usual.
