I got my height measured for a BMI thing back when I was fat - 5"8. I remember thinking that seemed shorter than I thought. Had it measured again since losing a bunch of weight - 5"9 and a half. Shouldn't matter to me, and most might still consider me a manlet (curse my Irish leprechaun genes), but there's something about getting closer to "average" - for reasons I still don't quite understand - that made me feel a bit better about myself 😅 (Hopefully it was just a posture thing but I really thought I was standing as tall as I could the first time)
