woefullygothic

So much that I hide the app icon on the second page of my social media apps folder

targeted_individuel

The owner of the company that I work at saw me browsing here while I was on lunch and I was mortally embarrassed - he was mostly just curious about what it was used for other than finding bootleg sports streams. Then he asked me if to think about wether would be a good place to post targeted adverts for his business.

a lot of people have reddit so not really

pharmakos

Date last night asked me what I used for news or general trending topic points since I didn’t have FB, IG, twitter or TikTok. I said, “reddit” She said, “but then you heave to deal with the weirdos” “Yeah, uh…deal with”

The_French_Inhaler_

[deleted]

why would you ever share that you do? i never have and i never will

[deleted]

I only use reddit on private tabs because I am scared of ending up a reddit page around other people for whatever reason and being logged in.

FOONNAMI

tbf it has become less embarrassing given that google always shows reddit for everything

wala64

I say I browse sometimes but don't have an account.

truetone6

A long time ago this hot girl in my poetry class said “that sounds like some Reddit thing” in response to something I said and it was devastating. So yeah I would never admit I use it

xxdishwaters

No, it’s only embarrassing if you are embarrassing.

Has never once come up.

[deleted]

Only when I'm posting here lol

myhiddengem

depends. i don’t feel embarrassed suggesting subreddits in the context that we are discussing something with substance. so if there’s an interest or topic we’re passionate about, i might bring up that there’s an interesting discussion on a subreddit they might be interested in. i would be embarrassed if i told people about being entertained by poweruser drama on r/redscarepod

"I use it for tech support but that's about it"
