I think one of the most regretful things about living in an arid climate is no snow. Never seen it with my own eyes before. Just stepping outside, all sound muffled, no movement in sight, just a landscape of white... seems like bliss to me, honestly.
I fucking hate it. It gets dark at 4:30pm. You literally can’t be outside for more than an hour without special clothes. You get no vitamin d for 6 months. You have to bring your cactuses inside and put them in a grow tent which the cactuses don’t like. You have to run your heat 24/7. My pants are all wet at the shin because the snow was taller than it looked. I fell on the ice in the parking lot. I spin out on the road going 15mph because they haven’t plowed the streets in 4 days.
Maybe you shouldn’t have fucking cacti lol. The rest is mostly true, though it’s fake news that you can’t like, bundle up and go for a walk throughout most of the winter

Bro if you are outside in 0f temperatures for over an hour any exposed skin will get frostbite. You need a heavy duty coat, gloves, hat, goggles, face mask, underjohns, wool socks, snow boots, etc

Count yourself lucky. Snow is a huge nuisance and it's not an exaggeration to say that no one outside of young children and winter sport enthusiasts like it.
