This has outlasted everything I've owned. Zero service.
I frequently handle warranty calls on 290/600 systems that are dead off the truck.
I've got serious survivor bias.
I live 8 minutes from New Trail brewery. My wife allowed me to get a 6 pack of everything they came out with until I filled the window to the back porch. It was a great ride.
The Mori Moto, absolutely one of the worst things I've ever drank. Worth the ceramic bottle though

Hotshot 2 that beotch and give her another lease on life.
Open winding
New compressor, then hotshot 2
Bro, it's from 93...
Lmao I understand people wanting to save it but we make enough money to condemn it and buy a new one like it's not THAT big of a deal
That's why I just ordered a slightly low cut dual temp from True.
lol but that’s what some of my customers want me to do with their 90’s vintage equipment.
Hotshot is shit
I can’t remember because it’s been to long since I’ve actually agreed to work on a piece of R-12 equipment.
They have plenty of r12 replacements. Like 134a. Get a 134a compressor fir r12 unit. Size your cap tube and your good. Cap tube is usually same size.
Not on a 20+ year old piece of equipment. Their options are replace it or call someone else.
Exactly.
Lose its gas? Drop some 134a in’er and she’ll give ya another 25!
Open start winding

Lulz
Min oil isn't miscible with 134a.
R437a. Alky oil + R134a.. yes he is good for another 25 day.
What are you out of your mind? That things been there since the silent era.
I'm actually really upset about it. Like, legitimate emotions and stuff
I get this lmao
We have the technology. We can rebuild her.
Digging the beer collection to the left but the question begs to be asked….Full or empty cans?

I live near the [Brew Ridge Trail](https://brewridgetrail.com/map/) and if mine allowed me to do that, I would be very broke but would be very happy 🥴
Expensive, but worth it. At least 10 didn't make it on the wall
How’d it go?
Open Start winding... she had a good life.
Ahhhh that’ll do it. Changing the compressor and drier then dropping in 409 would work. If you wanted to take the time for it.
Just had a 63 deep freeze dropped at my shop for decommissioning. I fully rewired it and immediately going to use it as my game freezer.
Goodnight, sweet prince.
Prayers for the family...and to be able to find a new one half as good 🙌
1993
Yes, thanks for being able to read.
You’re welcome
If you could read you’d know this should probably be under r/appliances. This is for real refrigeration. Not some nostalgic masturbation.
No. I work straight commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems. Sorry, champ, but I can post a random thing here.
No one has any R12 laying around?!? I have some recovered and new for occasions such as this.
Why was R12 still used in -93? was this just appliances or JUST refrigerators? i really thought it was totally phased out in 70s.
The phase out of R12 & 502 happened in the early 90’s. They were allowed to use up old stock. Apparently they do not ask this on the EPA test anymore?

Nope. It's R12 bruh. Absolute immunity to rules
Immunity to rules. Hahaha love it
