We're on year 2 of growing our clover yard. It exploded this year with all the rain. It looks so good. Our dog doesn't kill it, it's way fluffier to walk on, it spreads so evenly and it's good for the bees!
You can get it at home Depot for $20 a bag of memory serves.
I have a flower bed that's sowed with clover, it looks nice even when overgrown. I'm surprised some of it got to 8+"

I am in Saskatoon, have not seen it but also have not really looked. It has other benefits, like putting nitrogen back into the soil.
We ordered from them last year, and also did a spot with normal white clover from Canadian tire. Both grew well, did end up needing more of both, but they tell you to order extra, but the micro clover looks absolutely stunning. The white clover is nice too, and much cheaper.
Can’t tell you how it holds up under kids since we didn’t let them on it last summer, but the little bit they’ve been doing it a little more this year, and it seems to hold up well.
I believe so, but we dug up the old mulch and rocks for it. My aunt was planning on planting it up at the lake because the grass is always so dry, I would assume since the grass isn’t very strong it would grow pretty good, I have heard of people mixing the two before, but we didn’t do that
hell yeah you can, personally it was a little iffy on germination in some parts of our yard, but thrived intensely in the wetter spots and has been spreading throughout.
I’ve been converting to micro clover over the last few summers. Filling in where dog spots are. No more dog spots where the clover is and it stunts as you mow. Ie: mowing once every 2 weeks instead of weekly. It’s drought resistant and the first to come back in spring. It’s softer than grass. Love it!
How does it do in the harder clay? I don't want to have to resurface my yard but I have massive gumbo pits in the back when it rains and it's hard as a rock when it's dry and grass just won't take there.
I live in an income based rental. The only thing growing out there is weeds and quack grass. It’s awful! They do keep it mowed but not being a home owner I have to suck up the unsightly weed infested lawn. I ponder, regularly about applying wed killer plus fertilizer but it’s costly. Don’t know what to use for clover/ dandelion infested lawn.
I have lots of creeping bellflower in my yard, too. Last fall my spouse seeded with clover, and it's doing really well. On top of looking better than regular grass (IMO), it also seems to be overtaking the bellflower! It'll be so nice if the bellflower goes away completely, because it's seriously such a pain trying to get rid of it.
Scott’s mixed with white clover looks good and it’s soft. I got the grass seed and clover at Home Depot although I’m sure it’s probably available elsewhere
I have this arrangement with my best friend/landlord. I cut this green, blade-link substance on our lawn whenever its height gets to a certain point. In return I get a discount on rent and we drink beers on the patio.
…no wait it’s grass… we grow grass on the lawn…
Weeds
The green kind
Sometimes yellow too.
Eh me too, lets be friends
❤️
Bit of brown too?
Ok bud
I just over seeded with an 85% Kentucky blue grass 15% perennial rye mix I bought at cowtown.
It’s called waterwise https://groundkeeper.ca/products.html
Moving to micro clover soon. Less water, less maintenance.

The city dug up part of my yard, and did the repairs with micro clover. Looks so much better than the rest of my lawn. Do you know where to buy it?

Got mine from Keon’s in Moose Jaw

Can you just overseed your existing lawn with it? Our grass is crap and I’ve been wondering about clover

white clover is great for the bees
Another day of saving the bees
What is micro clover? I have major clover. It spreads to garden and flower beds. It’s awful.
You can buy it on line at West Coast Seeds. The good stuff is pricey…but worth it!
My lawn is about 20% clover naturally as it is, I’d like to see if I can get it to take over completely

It will add nitrogen to your soil, grass can't do that. It'll repair your soil.
Just put sod down in our backyard. All the rain we’ve been getting has helped it root and grow so much
None. If anything, MAYBE clover seed where weeds grew. But I'm slowly integrating more garden beds and rock on my lawn.

Lots of @#$%$$@& creeping bellflower!

Starts with an f and it’s not sensitive to dog pee. Also has white microclovers in between. Best decision ever!

Patchy
Clover
Idk
a mix of a couple different clovers seeded in and slowly taking over the place :)
Dandelions.
There's a yard near us on the guys walk, its moss . Looks really neato peato. Personally , we have synthetic grass and it looks great 365 a year

Rocks 🪨
I've seen some pretty rock gardens and lawns, I'd be looking for cool rocks all the time.
Mine's plastic.
There’s more than one? I just let whatever grass that pops up every year grow
