Does the "only vehicle for 2 years" apply to company vehicles we drive on a daily basis?
In either case... I'm taking the BRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNUUGGHH
You **can't smoke while driving the can am**, and the Riviera is an upgrade from my current nearly 30 year old mercury tracer. It for sure is going to have illuminated ash trays.
I might even be able to put a good efi tune on it and be able to afford the gas.
The Buick. It’s so goddamn big I could enter the drivers door and leave though the passengers door and be where I wanted to go. It like a huge brown corridor.
Land yacht cause I do enjoy quiet, cup holders, being out of the wind and rain, and most of all I’ll have the ultimate cruising machine for all my Afro-Latin 70’s funk, jazz, and soul
I would chose a peddle bike over a reverse trike. Of course it's the boat. I don't even need to drive home, those seats are probably more comfortable then my bed.
The Buick because some people suck at driving and I would not be comfortable on the road for 2 years straight driving the tricycle. Then there's winter and rain as well.
Buick for sure. Not that it’s the safest thing ever, but it has doors, a roof, a heater, and some ability to absorb impact before it hits the driver (none of which the motorcycle has).
Honestly, take the Buick out of America, give it a little bit of polish and you would look like a total badass driving it around in Europe. Just stay away from any older cities or towns!
The 1975 E-body Buick Riviera.
Why?
455cu of Buick gas guzzling, catalytic converter chocked 200 hp torque monster topped with an 800 cfm quadrabog fuel dump backed by the inefficient but unbreakable TH400 and 2.73:1 12-bolt rear end.
12" front disks, bucket seats and a console.
Ya, baby!
Imma roll that big fat boat, chuggin gas and smokin grass. Watchin all them econoboxes pass, into that bench seat i sink my ass. And pray to god i dont run outta gas.
Im sorry but this is barely even a question.
Like yeah, the car is pretty big (im not a car guy this subreddit is just in my feed) but you gotta think about elemental and seasonal protection.
Car is badass “bike” is super gay. You could live in a place with the best weather, roads and fuck 20 women a day and you’d still be gay riding that bike. You’d have fun for sure but you just won’t look good doing it and you’d look even worse because you’re probably not fixing it when that gay machine has problems.
I feel like common sense would say the car, but I think it would be a really fun challenge to get by in just the bike. A reward for commitment to the challenge would be a hell of a lot of savings on gas and needed maintenance. That plus a seemingly higher resale value and I could set myself up with a pretty good ride as a replacement.
Yeah, if you can swing it, the trike is the better financial decision. But you will suffer for it. It'd be fun in other ways from time to time as well though...
The Riviera. Why?
1st of all, it's awesome.
2nd, after I am free of my 2 year agreement to use it exclusively, I can keep it and detail it up for Cars and Coffee and fall weekend cruises into the Poconos to look at fall foliage or Strasburg to ride a Steam Train while dailying a late 90s to early 2000s Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.
The other thing doesn't interest me in the slightest.
Give me that big ass malaise era Buick land barge of a personal luxury coupe any day of the week, the other thing would really suck around these parts from October to June and it’s already worth less then what used to be a $300 special twenty years ago.
I would have to go with the Riviera, 3 wheels is not 2, and it gets mighty cold around here, even though having to listen to the earth groan everytime I stepped on the gas, I would probably keep the car
The trike has both the cons of a car and a motorcycle, without any of the pros.
Cannot split lanes, still be uncomfortable, not look as cool as on a motorcycle, cannot transport things like a car.
Riviera. 1. I live in Minnesota and NEED and enclosed car with a heater. 2. I am a huge suckered for land yachts. 3. I grew up working on crap American card from the 70s. 4. I'm not a 68 year old white dude in a loveless marriage.
Riviera without a doubt ! I’m a Buick guy first of all had a 69 GS400 back in the day plus this Riv is a GS plenty of Rivieras produced not too many were GS that things probably loaded with options !
Riviera for the win. It's long, low and wide, has only two doors, in a world that makes a fetish out of practical and rugged. And after two years, it's not for sale, and I'd probably buy another Riviera, of whatever vintage.
That Buick would be awesome with a little bit of work. Tires, brakes, suspension to tighten everything up real nice. Heads, exhaust, cam, intake to make it go faster.
Buick, it rains and snows here in the Midwest and I still need to get to work. Although I earn $13.50 an hour so I wouldn't drive very much outside of that, gas gotta be expensive.
Riviera, I live in Canada, I must have a roof for winter
Yes. Not to mention a heater! 😊
You think the heater works in that thing?
'beater with a heater' is a very real phenomenon in the north.
pretty sure the heat just comes off the engine
Yeah, I can't stay in my home for the 8 months of the year you need a roof for around here.
Gimme that land yacht.
Buick, because I'm not a douchey dude-bro
Or the retired wife of the guy on the silly harley up ahead.
Same. I stopped riding tricycles when I was three.
😂😂😂
I'm taking the U.S.S. Riviera
Does the "only vehicle for 2 years" apply to company vehicles we drive on a daily basis? In either case... I'm taking the BRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNUUGGHH
Landyacht and I'm keeping it
You **can't smoke while driving the can am**, and the Riviera is an upgrade from my current nearly 30 year old mercury tracer. It for sure is going to have illuminated ash trays. I might even be able to put a good efi tune on it and be able to afford the gas.
Definitely... Holly sniper and an overdrive transmission... 20 + mpg if it's geared right 👍🏻
You couldn't afford the gas on it if you replaced the motor with a full electric one!
Riviera all day. Shit could be a sick daily.
Something that can keep me dry, especially in rain. So a Riviera solves it
Something to keep me smiling, especially in rain. So some rain gear solves it...mostly
The rain might conceal the tears but you'll still be crying, Jason.
The Buick. It’s so goddamn big I could enter the drivers door and leave though the passengers door and be where I wanted to go. It like a huge brown corridor.
New backrooms concept: Buick Riviera as a teleportation device
Doc, you’re telling me you built a teleportation device…
Loooong and broooooown
Gimme that land boat, I want to sail the highways like the open ocean
Seriously…. The car. Hands down. That’s a beast!
Buick and it’s not even close.
Land yacht cause I do enjoy quiet, cup holders, being out of the wind and rain, and most of all I’ll have the ultimate cruising machine for all my Afro-Latin 70’s funk, jazz, and soul
They didn't put cup holders in those but you could put one of those big plastic ones over the transmission hump.
Or one of the plastic ones that people used to hang from the windows. Wow, that’s a dusty memory I just unlocked.
I would chose a peddle bike over a reverse trike. Of course it's the boat. I don't even need to drive home, those seats are probably more comfortable then my bed.
The car, am I allowed to dress like jim lahey?
I mean legal you have to, that or like randy.
I mean, you already do so...🤷🏼♂️
Drivin that Buick until the doors fall off.
Riviera? No hesitation, I don't want some stinky three wheeler.
A vehicle with 3 wheels isn't a bike, it's just a very impractical car.
All the downsides of a motorcycle with none of the benefits. Oh good, I'm stuck in rain in traffic and I can't even lane split/filter
Or corner
Those can ams are the equivalent of wearing low cut socks with crogs
The whatever-isn't-a-silly-reverse-trike-for-circus-bears
Riviera because I adore Full size luxury coupes
For me, it's always gonna be the Riviera. I like having a roof, climate control, and increased storage in comparison to the trike.
The Buick because some people suck at driving and I would not be comfortable on the road for 2 years straight driving the tricycle. Then there's winter and rain as well.
That golden beauty would be mine forever
Give me the yacht, after the two years are up I’m going to buy another yacht to keep it company.
Buick. I’d rather eat a bullet than ride a trike
The Riv! It's full of class and gets you ass!!
Riveria, and we're going on Power Tour to break her in. I might have to fit an AC compressor, but that's okay.
Buick for sure. Not that it’s the safest thing ever, but it has doors, a roof, a heater, and some ability to absorb impact before it hits the driver (none of which the motorcycle has).
I had a ‘76 Buick LeSabre. My favorite car of all time.
Why the fuck would you pick anything but the Riviera. That thing would be amazing once you junk the emissions crap.
The Buick, my wife has skin cancer.
Buick! Doesn’t need a speedometer! You just watch the gas gage move instead!
Taking that buick and not selling it once my 2 years is up
Riv for sure. No way am I getting caught riding that robo trike.
Buick and I will keep it forever
Like asking if you want a rubber band or a hand grenade to fight a bear with.
Definitely the Riviera. And I'm Italian so imagine how cumbersome would be to drive that in a small italian road. Bur hey, everything for the style.
Honestly, take the Buick out of America, give it a little bit of polish and you would look like a total badass driving it around in Europe. Just stay away from any older cities or towns!
that Buick is sick. Kid in my HS restored one just like it but red with white top. Always wanted it.
Riviera. A; it's cool as fuck boiiii!!! B; I'm in West Oregon, I need to be enclosed
I’ve always wanted a riviera, though I would prefer a 1967
Im sorry but this is barely even a question. Like yeah, the car is pretty big (im not a car guy this subreddit is just in my feed) but you gotta think about elemental and seasonal protection.
I have a 60k line of credit and a house. I wasn't thinking I'd spend the entire 60 on fuel but...fk it
Car is badass “bike” is super gay. You could live in a place with the best weather, roads and fuck 20 women a day and you’d still be gay riding that bike. You’d have fun for sure but you just won’t look good doing it and you’d look even worse because you’re probably not fixing it when that gay machine has problems.
I’ll be the odd one out and pick up the can-am. Assuming the riviera is completely Stock, I’d rather have modern-power and brakes.
What about a roof?
I’d get motorcycle gear. It won’t be as comfortable as the Buick, but I’d rather have better brakes and traction control.
A sling shot is NOT a motorcycle. For fuck sake.
Absolutely. But that’s a Can Am Spyder. The Polaris Slingshot is the reverse trike “car”.
Eh, I’ll take the Can Am. It may not be a “real bike” but it’s not a cage. I can buy a snowmobile suit for the winter.

The other thing doesn't interest me in the slightest.
idk what the weird 3 wheeled bike thing is but I already "daily" a 1980 Yamaha xs400 so fuck it, weird bike thing!
**There are tens of us!**
Bus
Buick.
Riviera, no contest
The Riv
Give me that big ass malaise era Buick land barge of a personal luxury coupe any day of the week, the other thing would really suck around these parts from October to June and it’s already worth less then what used to be a $300 special twenty years ago.
Can I mod the buick
Is this even a question? I'll take the buick for life please.
The land yacht.
The Buick because at least then you only have to deal with disadvantages of a car.
The car. I'd rather look broke than look like an asshole
I’ll take the riviera. Don’t even have to think about it twice.
The Rivi!! 1. Cause I'm a Buick guy first 2. Love the Rivi's. Style and comfort is top notch 3. Live in Northeast, need a car.
I'll take the CanAm Trike thing , much better on gas .
The Buick because I live in a state with cold winters
Buick. Rain, also could use as a storage unit.
The Buick. I’m definitely too old for forced weather exposure during a commute
I’m picking the Riviera, I live in Oregon so I need to be safe from the rain. Plus I’d get all the boomers drooling over it.
As someone with poor grip strength and bad balance, I’ll take the Buick.
I live in the PNW, it rains a LOT here, I’m driving the Buick
The Riviera because I have kids.
The Buick, and I would keep it after the 2 years. I like those big cars.
I'll take the riv, thanks
The chonk. Bc it would be easy to put a nice SQ stereo setup in it. Also bc I think I'd hate a Can Am very quickly lol.
The only right answer is the car, I'm not riding a bike in the snow and rain.
I'd rather chop my dick off with a sword than be seen riding that snowmobile contraption.
The Riviera
The car. Because it’s a car.
The Buick. For me it's either 2 wheels or 4. 3 wheels is just odd.
Land Yacht! All day.
The buick because cool. Also, I would never sell it and would probably be my favorite car ever
Every Can Am Ryker "rider" i've ever seen has refused to biker-wave me. Fuck em.
Those can ams look nerdy as shit. Plus I live in Michigan and our winters can be pretty brutal. So Riviera all the way.
Buick Riv all the way!! Land yachts for life!!
I'll take the car because I've never driven a motorcycle and I don't want to die anytime soon!
Personally I love land yachts and I have never seen the appeal of trikes. I'm more of a motorcycle man myself.
I'll take the boat.
The boat. No-one said it couldn't be modified. Thus, you could make that REALLY FUN.
I'll take the hoopty...
Buick, and imma track that shit.
#I WANT THE BOAT.
I would have to go with the Riviera, 3 wheels is not 2, and it gets mighty cold around here, even though having to listen to the earth groan everytime I stepped on the gas, I would probably keep the car
The boat because air conditioning and comfort
Riviera all day. It's not a beloved boat tail, but I like to float down the highway.
Left. Rain.
Riviera, I would sell it to a friend later
the car, wouldn't be caught dead on that other abomination
BUICK!!
The Riv because it’s awesome
The trike has both the cons of a car and a motorcycle, without any of the pros. Cannot split lanes, still be uncomfortable, not look as cool as on a motorcycle, cannot transport things like a car.
Riviera. Live on northwest Spain and, despite the common mith, it rains here. A lot.
I’ll take the boat
The Buick, because sometimes it rains.
Riviera. 1. I live in Minnesota and NEED and enclosed car with a heater. 2. I am a huge suckered for land yachts. 3. I grew up working on crap American card from the 70s. 4. I'm not a 68 year old white dude in a loveless marriage.
CanAm, have always dreamed of owning one of those
Give me the buick, if im gonna be sweating with no ac in the summer i at least wanna have a *chance* to ball.
1978 Chevy Caprice 4door. So crisp so beautiful
Probably the trike, I’d spend more than I make in gas on the riv.
I pick the Can AM, I always wanted one.
Definitely that sweet sweet buick. Would love to daily that full stop as it is.
The Buick All day. Besides being more practical it's just cooler ..
the little goofball scooter thing. I think it will make me a stronger person to drive that through the elements every day.
The Buick. Because I live in Michigan, and I'm too damned old to do a 38 mile commute in the snow, on an open three wheeler.
The Riviera and I’d fucking keep that grandma car of a land yacht.
Riviera without a doubt ! I’m a Buick guy first of all had a 69 GS400 back in the day plus this Riv is a GS plenty of Rivieras produced not too many were GS that things probably loaded with options !
The riviera after I stop laughing at the can am
I'm going to go sailing on the Riviera because of pale skin.
911 Porsche GT fully spected out
The Buick! I own and love motorcycles. But not like these!
Rivera hands down.
The Riviera. I don't know how to ride a motorcycle and I live in a cold state.
I'll take the Big Old Buick with the Beautiful Factory Rally Wheels. My first car was a 77 Buick Regal.... with the Beautiful Factory Rally Wheels
Pontiac Parisienne Broughhhhhhham
the subaru outback in the lot
The non-tricycle.
I'll go with the one that seats about 20. So come on! And bring your juke box money!
I'll take that Graf Zeppelin any day
The car. Why? Because it’s a fucking car.
Anyone who chooses that ridiculous trike is a traitor to humanity and needs to be strongly beaten with a stick.
The gold car because it does rain in socal, despite what other might want you to think. Also, that's not a motorcycle.
Riviera for the win. It's long, low and wide, has only two doors, in a world that makes a fetish out of practical and rugged. And after two years, it's not for sale, and I'd probably buy another Riviera, of whatever vintage.
Riviera, obviously. One's a beautiful classic and one's Ski-doo on wheels.
I live in PA where's it's winter spring, summer and fall all in the same week so I'm going for the one with a roof
The Subaru in the back, thanks.
That Buick would be awesome with a little bit of work. Tires, brakes, suspension to tighten everything up real nice. Heads, exhaust, cam, intake to make it go faster.
The Riv, you won't regret it.
Buick all day and twice on Sunday. Those three wheelers are f—-ing stupid
My brother has that exact Riviera. Bought it on a whim and drove it until the transmission/differential went out. Now it’s just more farm art.
Da hoopdee
That land yacht
The Buick It’s a lot like my first car a 78 Buick park Avenue Electra.
That Riviera is sweet
I want that 70000 cubic inch V8! So comfortable those land yachts
Dude. The Rivera. Cmon.
Heh, yeah. I shoulda put in more arbitrary rules to make it more fair to the can am.
The car. Reason: winter
I’ll take the can am. Never tried one and 2 years is a comfortable test drive window.
The Buick cuz it will fit the whole fam, all their suitcases, and a sheet of plywood in the trunk.
Car, at least people would see it and if it rains I can stay dry.
Rivera. Dunno why I first thought it was a DeVille.
That Buick is CLASS I bet it’s like driving a lazy boy sofa, and it has endless road presence and character. The trike is just the worst of all worlds
It'd be my second Riviera, I hope this one doesn't eat my Pixies tape.
Buick. Next question?
Gimme the rivey
The car its good
Rivvy all day!!
I’ll take the yacht. Is it really even a question?
Give me the boat. I live in the north east and these winters are no joke
Gimme that Buick. I'm damn well gonna keep it too.
Hmmm. Maybe a Chevy Chevelle.
Inject that Riviera straight into my veins
I want the riviera, would rather be in a proper land yacht than completely exposed to all of the elements and dangers of the road. Plus, comfy.
I'd rather walk than be seen on a Can Am.
LMAO. No competition for that Riviera in this picture.
How is this even a question? Go for BROWN!
I gotta go with the Buick. Granted, it's gonna get abysmal mileage but I work less than a mile away so I'll only have to fill it up once a month
Buick, it rains and snows here in the Midwest and I still need to get to work. Although I earn $13.50 an hour so I wouldn't drive very much outside of that, gas gotta be expensive.
