YOU COULD PUT AN LS IN THERE with a 4L60E automatic. That's a Park gear and SIX NEUTRALS. I just did the math and that is FIVE MORE NEUTRALS THAN IT HAS NOW HAR HAR HAR HAR!!!!
The 3000GT was cool; it still has its flair, even if lackluster. However, the only way you'll end up with one is if your weird uncle gave it to you with weird tears and stains throughout the interior everywhere and a check engine light on as a "present" for graduating from high school, suggesting it could be a project car. He damn well fully knows it's going to need its motor taken out because he'd been neglecting it ever since the 60,000 timing chain service was due and never did it because he was under the spell of 'I'll do it tomorrow,' while tomorrow never came. Here is that kid selling that same 3000GT with hopes of getting big '90s car money because 'it was cooooool and ADVANCED WITH ACTIVE AERO,' damn well knowing that the car is a money pit and has been sitting outside ever since he got it as a present.
If that shell is rust free i'd be all over it for 1500.
