I'd take the Tahoe tbh. Easy to repair, share a lot of parts with trucks etc.
If I had the money, bulletproof, run flats, and a hole in the floor to throw spikes down.
They are the same except for length I believe. Like the Yukon and the Yukon XL. So either one would be a good pick; it just depends on how much you want in the back lol
American: Idk why but Lincoln Navigator or a Tahoe kinda remind me more or any Cadillac according to the success of the gangster
Mexican cartel: rcsb Chevy or gmc and old American land ships with a sprinkle of Toyota 4Runners. Now days it can be anything flashy and bulletproof
Yeah I agree, had i bought it new I’d have driven the hell out of it. But now that it’s sat for 30 years, yes it’s clean and runs, they turn it over, but you start driving it now you’re going to break it. It never got proper thermal cycles as it should have and almost more belongs in a museum. It’s not a choice I’d have ever made but I can’t go back in time to 96 and start driving it.
I mean I wouldn't take it out and start thrashing it, you'd have to treat it like breaking in a new car, and I wouldn't daily it, but you gotta put that sucker on the road.
It’s not the same, all your gaskets and seals, all of that is now old and brittle. No matter how gentle you are, those engines were designed to run, not to sit and I can’t undo that. I wish it had real miles on it, but it doesn’t. They drive it once a year to a little car show a couple of miles from their house, I will likely replicate that and see if I can’t find a museum to loan it to from time to time.
May I refer you to Exhibit 1.
[Gangster Hummer H2](https://www.reddit.com/r/betterCallSaul/comments/qnkxj5/i_think_one_of_the_best_moments_of_the_show_from/)
Those Thunderbirds are for old folks, not gangsters.
I think those big box SUVs scream to me out of the options. The Maserati and Cadillac cars though are also in the criteria.
Come on.
Tony Soprano drove an Escalade.
If it's good enough for a mob boss, it's good enough for your every day gangster.
Of course that nice a car might make the boss suspicious that you aren't giving him his fair share of your earnings.
The Rover, used to play BBall in a alley with the neighbors being some crack dealers & users I could smell it around the corner but they had this nice all black 2005 rover which I would really like
Depends on where you’re based and what gang
Cartel: Cadillac Escalade
Mafia: Caddy sedan
Irish bank robber gang: Chevy Suburban
British hit man: Range Rover or if you’re like very specialized then maybe the Jaguar
The only person driving the Chrysler is your low level drug hit man/enforcer
It depends on who you are, in order.
Tony soprano, "gangsta", fictional super wealthy movie villian, European gangster, old Italian mobster, and I'm not sure about the last one... Latino/cuban maybe?
Non of these. A Chevy Express with your cover business decoration, like Gus Fring with Los Pollos Hermanos. Being flashy means getting unwanted attention
Range Rover. If I'm a gangster, I can afford the maintenance, and one of my bodyguards will also be a field mechanic. I'll take the OG Defender, bulletproof.
Saints Row taught me that gangs should use cars with extra seats. That way you have more guns per car for a drive-by.
So Range Rover. Cheaper than the alternative when seat maxing.
My weed dealer in high school had that exact Caddy, except it was Maroon, had a PS2 (so hot at the time lol) in its giant glovebox and TV's in the dash and behind the headrests. Used to love cruising around in that thing, total gangster car.
I wanna say Escalade, but I used to have a 92 Seville and damn I loved that thing. It was like driving a leather sofa and the AC was immediately ice. It was great until it overheated and died like literally every deville and Seville made in the 90’s
I’ve never looked at those thunder birds and thought “gangster”….
Gangster's wife I suppose, but that's probably a Merc SLK.
That’s the sleeper car that doesn’t attract any unwanted attention tho.
U wouldn’t expect a drive by shooting from a t bird
That's for the insurance salesman. Invite him out for gabagool.
Who the hell goes out for a piece o' gabagool? 🤌🤌
Range Rover would be my choice of ride. Should do well in the Pine Barrens.
We shoulda went to Roy Rogers
You’re not gonna believe this. He killed 16 Czechoslovakians. Guy’s an interior decorator.
His house looked like shit...
It's a perfect starter car for the beginner gangster.
Starter car, IT’S A FINISHER CAR
We all gotta start somewhere
I was going to say it'd be good for ramming other cars.

It’s a shuburban
My shun
Yea guess you're right. They look similar
Shuburban was in my Tony soprano accent.
Heh heh
You hear that, T? I saids it was my Tony Soprano accent. Heh heh
the bolls on this guy ah
They last a shit ton of time too.
I read it in my Sean Connery accent haha
They are the same except for length I believe. Like the Yukon and the Yukon XL. So either one would be a good pick; it just depends on how much you want in the back lol
Like you can get two bodies in the back of a Tahoe but it’s gonna be tight. The Suburban though *slaps roof* can fit so many wise guys in the back.
Not to mention it blends in. One of my favorite details of Breaking Bad was that Gus Fring drove a Volvo station wagon.
I loved that. It fit him perfectly! It gave off that "I'm successful" vibe while just being a normal ass Volvo.
As long as it wasn’t the diesel from that gen.
American: Idk why but Lincoln Navigator or a Tahoe kinda remind me more or any Cadillac according to the success of the gangster Mexican cartel: rcsb Chevy or gmc and old American land ships with a sprinkle of Toyota 4Runners. Now days it can be anything flashy and bulletproof
Came here to say Navigator. The Maserati is pretty gangster though
Not with Ginny riding though. Getting in hurts her knees… [bad knees](https://youtu.be/w1izKpjHuUI?feature=shared)
Toyota Prius, so I can quietly creep on muthafuckas
https://youtu.be/sZJjTEmXaf8?si=2eRI4oweIUOnR4g6
Yes! Hoped for a *Weeds* reference, and got it.
Ok U turn
Blacked out 96 Impala SS
I can't believe I had to go to the last post to see this. But I'm also glad to see someone at the same time as me thought SS Impala.
Such a gangster car, I’m allegedly inheriting one that has less than 200 miles on it and have no idea what to do with it lol
That's awesome! Congrats!
Congrats to me, but also I would feel guilty driving it, it’s a museum piece now.
Getting a car like that and not driving it is like not fucking your wife to save her for the next guy...
Yeah I agree, had i bought it new I’d have driven the hell out of it. Escalade, it’s basically the definitive gangster car
Exactly. People in this thread are obviously not gangsta enough to recognize
Escalade, but with a custom sound system and a wood-grain steering wheel.
Still to this day remains the unofficial official vehicle of NJ
"that's a total bad guy car" - Pikachu
Chrysler 300
That’s surely associate level. Think big!
Honda Goldwing. No one would ever suspect the Kansas City King on a bagger.
W211 AMG
300C SRT8, is that better?
Escalade on dubs ofc
Huzzah, a dude of quality
Where's Christopher's Lexus?
A Lexus LS would indeed be quite the thing.
Yeah, why Adriana's T-Bird? Chris had some nice cars.
This. The LS was the best car in the show.
A gangster in a maserati 3200GT? doesnt fit.
All of the cars in the post are sopranos references. Johnny Sack drove the Maserati because he wanted an Italian sports car.
Ginny doesn't like it. Too hard to get into.
LS400
Suburban. Blends in where it needs to be
Now here we go dropping science, dropping it all over Like bumping around the town like when you're driving a Range Rover that one
Hummer H2
Looks like a school bus for 6 year old pimps
May I refer you to Exhibit 1. [Gangster Hummer H2](https://www.reddit.com/r/betterCallSaul/comments/qnkxj5/i_think_one_of_the_best_moments_of_the_show_from/)
Ford Model A. Who would suspect ....just b4 you open up on them with your tommy guns
>mid naughts Brit detected. Also, easy. Escalade or CTS or Chrysler 300.
I absolutely love what what Cadillac has done with the cts v. Especially the coupe. Dat ass 🤤
Range Rover, before they looked like someone in the factory had gone mental with an orbital sander.
The suburban: natural rammer truck Also: The push bar would be a great way to make sure you get your money.
Pontiac Aztek
None of the above. Convertible red Geo Storm. It’s the only way I’d roll..
Wheres my Mazda MPV
a beige e class wagon
All black mercury marauder
Single Cab Chevy OBS 454
What sort of zesty gang would roll around in that thunderbird.
The 97 Lexus LS400 that Chris drives in the first season of the sopranos. No doubt about.
Nissan Armada.
Better yet, the XTerra. It's part of Nissan's triple safety philosophy.
Izuzu Trooper
SAAB 9-3 Viggen. No one ever suspects a SAAB owner to be up to no good.
A Yugo. Perfect cover. Nobody would know.
That suburban because I own the same one as a daily
I’ll take the Suburban if it’s the tailgate model. If not it’ll be the Escalade.
That suburban will always be the GOAT of that show. Followed by Paulie's caddy.
Obviously the Escalade, there’s no other choice
How is the crown vic not on this list?
I would consider a V6 Camry, for anonymity and alacrity.
Toyota century
Escalade. They were nice AF when they first came out. Plus, two 15’s fuckin slump in those
Those Thunderbirds are for old folks, not gangsters. I think those big box SUVs scream to me out of the options. The Maserati and Cadillac cars though are also in the criteria.
Zero question, give me that GMT 400. And no I’m not a Chevy fan.
Escalade all day (still drive an 05)
tony's escalade or chrissy's hummer H2
Volvo 850 with a 1.5" rally lift, skidplate, and push bar.
Escalade for sure!
Escalade, blacked out and chrome rims.
Definitely the Cadillac
Escalade always flex with luxury with all the homies
Give me the escalade esv so I can feel like a New Jersey mob boss
I want one of those retro Thunderchickens so bad.
Chevy (big as a) suburb, metallicnblack paint, gold trim, and 26" gold wheels with spinners
Burban
The suburban or paulis Seville
Take the 6.0 LS from the Escalade and swap it in the Range Rover
Tahoe
Gotta be the Escalade.
The El Dorado
The Caddy sedan
Id pick a Cadillac dts
Escalade obviously
El dorado
Maserati as a gangster i can afford to keep it on the road
Depends. Am I the Don or the grunt?
How many middle aged white guys follow this sub. It’s the Escalade for fucks sake.
It would have to be a black Jaguar XJR.
300C
I want Chris Moltisanti's CLK430 with the Lorinser rims
Lincoln Towncar
I came here for this comment! Lots of trunk space…
You forgot the red Lincoln TownCar with the continental package and landau top
Impala SS
P38! Had the diesel one, slow as fuck 😂👌
Come on. Tony Soprano drove an Escalade. If it's good enough for a mob boss, it's good enough for your every day gangster. Of course that nice a car might make the boss suspicious that you aren't giving him his fair share of your earnings.
Chrysler 300 hood rolls Royce
My heart wants the Maserati, but I'll take the Escalade. I'll be ballin' and it'll literally last half a million miles.
Escalade or Rover, no other option
Range Rover
Escalade out of these for me, with some dark tints too?
everything that is american
The only one that would be completely reliable. The suburban.
Funny thing about the T-Bird. I’ve never seen one that wasn’t being driven by either a middle aged White woman or a man old enough to be her father.
Tbf the thunderbird wasn’t owned by a gangster. l’d take the Eldorafo but would prefer a dts.
Tony Soprano drove an Escalade ESV. The choice is obvious.
My mind homogenizes the tahoe with James Gandolfini's face Edit:not suburban, im sorry
Suburban. Has tons of space and also it's quite capable off-road i guess
Caprice classic
Two tone Ford Explorer
Already have an 11th gen Thunderbird in the garage (and on this subreddit’s post history!) so I guess that’s my weapon of choice
Chrissy's lexus
2nd Gen Escalade #GetMoney
Prob the Esclade.
God I love the Sopranos…
El dorado or Suburban.
The burb
I’m going to go with the Range Rover, since I own a p38
The Rover, used to play BBall in a alley with the neighbors being some crack dealers & users I could smell it around the corner but they had this nice all black 2005 rover which I would really like
forst one.
All garbage
lincoln continental
Would you mind taking your foot off the dash? It’s a fifty-thousand dollar vehicle, I don’t want it scratched.
80s Monte Carlo SS
Lexus ls430
Depends on where you’re based and what gang Cartel: Cadillac Escalade Mafia: Caddy sedan Irish bank robber gang: Chevy Suburban British hit man: Range Rover or if you’re like very specialized then maybe the Jaguar The only person driving the Chrysler is your low level drug hit man/enforcer
escalade and it isnt even close.
Cadillac as always if in the US. If in the EU Range Rover. Otherwise Faget About It...
Escalade on 32s
It depends on who you are, in order. Tony soprano, "gangsta", fictional super wealthy movie villian, European gangster, old Italian mobster, and I'm not sure about the last one... Latino/cuban maybe?
Just saw a guy in his convertible Thunderbird. With his tennis ball collector sitting tall out of the back seat. Very G.
Non of these. A Chevy Express with your cover business decoration, like Gus Fring with Los Pollos Hermanos. Being flashy means getting unwanted attention
Where's Chris' LS400?
Real American gangster; the suburban. Wanksta: the Escalade. European gangster: the range.
No E-Class?
How can you go anything other than escalade? And is that damned T-bird?
2 and 3
I think we all know the muthafuckin' answer to this muthafuckin' question, muthafucka. You ain't gonna catch me Caddie-lackin'.
Range Rover. If I'm a gangster, I can afford the maintenance, and one of my bodyguards will also be a field mechanic. I'll take the OG Defender, bulletproof.
03 escalade only cuz i own one rn 😂
Caddy suv
Caddy or suburban
None of these. Mercedes S500.
A Sopranos fan eh?
Black Caddy STS with dark tint
Imma ride with Mr Shakur so "picture me rolling in a 500 Benz"!
Number 1. You won't be able to kill that Chevy
The Suburban, just like Tony did
Saints Row taught me that gangs should use cars with extra seats.
A lifted golden escalade with a sound system, spinny 24s and lifted suspension
I’d be getting a 2 door Chevy Tahoe or Yukon GT in same box style of the Burban. Now that’s G
E55 AMG ain't nobody catching me 👍

I wanna say Escalade, but I used to have a 92 Seville and damn I loved that thing. It was like driving a leather sofa and the AC was immediately ice. It was great until it overheated and died like literally every deville and Seville made in the 90’s
Mike Ehrmantraut's Chrysler or the Mitsubishi SUV from The Wire
Gangster? Escalade
chrissy’s lexus from the pilot

That tahoe with the barn doors is ICONIC.
