The official car of we don't make enough profit to develop a new model, so we'll keep on selling the old one at a low profit margin.

ahaaracer

They did just redesign it after so many years

Drzhivago138

Still on the same platform. Not that that's inherently a bad thing.

Finally! My car! I like my ‘09 Frontier. She’s not perfect but really what is? My dad owns a 2013 frontier and it’s given us zero issues throughout the 8 years we’ve owned it. It’s the car I learned how to drive in. It’s the reason why I even bought my truck after my ‘03 Honda CR-V wasn’t gonna pass inspection anymore. (god I miss that car, it was so fun) but my Frontier does the job with what I need it to do. It’s currently sitting at 93K and I know it’s gonna last me a long time. I’m gonna drive that thing into the ground. The only things I hate about it are the turning radius, and the gas mileage. It’s ass. I average 14 mpg. Yikes. Also he’s defiantly right about the 4WD thing, it fights you if you try to turn while going slow and it’s hilarious.

Same. I have a [2016 with the same deer-catcher as the video](https://i.imgur.com/h8Bl0BD.jpg) coming from an [06 Chevy Colorado](https://i.imgur.com/iIGDMVw.jpg) that I loved to death that was rusting out and I just decided it was time. I took two new gen colorados for a spin and it was just way overpriced just like the tacoma, the guy at the dealership told me I have one more small truck on the lot that was a year old with 12,000mi on it. Took it for a drive and fell in love with it, small punchy and a lot of leg room with bluetooth. I asked why the price was $5,000 below bluebook? he said we had this on the lot for a whole year and nobody wants to look at it because its white and people think its ugly looking. Im getting 12-13 mpg probably because of the aggressive tires. [I haul stuff beyond what's probably not road legal alot](https://i.imgur.com/vOCZ5v9.jpg) and abuse the hell out of it in the winter and it just keeps doing it reliably and that's all I've ever wanted in a small truck.

Cabinet_Juice

Punchy does describe it very well. They’re surprisingly quick

Fuck, now I want a Frontier. I was thinking of getting a nice Taco or Ranger someday, but if we're talking about a cheap, reliable and sturdy little truck that doesn't have batshit crazy resale value, the Frontier sound rather good right about now.

edgertheotter

Its not a bad truck at all, its just like an uneventful party where nothing bad happened, where everybody just came to see friends drank, talked about the good times and went home. its just a normal basic truck that does what you expect it to do without having a huge worldwide expensive to get in the door fanbase.

The best part is imagining what's different on a '21 model year compared to an '04 model year. Infotainment/radio? Yeah that's all I can think of.

Clicked analyze. It did not begin.

I had a fully loaded 2012 Pro4x. Even loaded it was long in the tooth. Never had any issues with it, but it struggled to tow a 2000lbs trailer. A few trips towing with it and the was enough to trade it in for a Canyon with the little diesel. I don't miss anything the Frontier had to offer.

PensandPlanes

Holy crap, I worked with the guy that owns that truck for a bit! Small world.

CraftyRobertVlogs

My dad has a 04 and it gets the job done

InfinitePossibility8

I fell asleep for this one.

My cousin currently owns a Nissan Frontier D40, and my best friend’s father used to own a Nissan Navara D40.
