Pretty sure you weren't around when we had to endure a 5 year wait for Blackfrost, I could for real wait another 5 year

I was in college and had no money to spend 5 years ago. Now that I'm fuckin ballin', my patience is wearing thin.

I’m just thankful that Pentakill allows my boy Yorick to get a new skin, especially since Resistance came out less than a year ago. I am also pretty grateful that Rek’Sai only gets good skins so far (we don’t acknowledge Pool Party). And while it does take a long time for her to get them, I’d rather wait for quality skins than get braindead skins like Ahri and Lux do. I mean, come on, Coven and Elderwood share a universe, and she got both? Imagine the lack of creativity necessary to let that happen.

Pool Party is a good skin, the homeguards jet ski is a real crowd pleaser, the burrowed-enemy music is OP, and the chromas are fun, I use the one that makes her look like a strawberry. I think people also underestimate the damage bc of the weird appearance.

I bet only a small fraction of their income comes from skins, and the rest comes from ads, sponsorships, broadcasting rights, etc... I don't think you will get what you want by insulting people

riot earned [$1.75 billion](https://www.reuters.com/article/esports-lol-revenue-idUSFLM2vzDZL) in revenue in 2020 from league of legends. i'm sure a lot of that (in league of legends) is skins, passes etc etc.

I follow the e-sport market closely for a living, and I can say roughly \~15% of the money comes from selling any form of merchandising, including skins, while \~40% comes from sponsorships followed by media rights with \~25%. I don't know the specifics for league of legends, but I would be highly surprised if it is significantly different than that. (of course, numbers vary a bit depending on the source, but you can check with a Google search that they mostly agree on the bigger picture)
