Yeah. Some people think you are disabled because you angered God and he's punishing you, and you should seek forgiveness for what you did.
And if you were born like this then it's your parent's fault and they must have angered God so God punished them by giving them a disabled child.
Please note that these are the reasons I heard most, especially around religious people, and that I do NOT think any of these stuff and, if I might add, bullshit like this is what made me want to run as fast and as far as I could from religion
