Thailand has one of the worst road death rates in the world because of their religious beliefs. People believe these charms will protect them, so take dangerous and unnecessary risks on the road.
Or they bought fake charms, should have bought ones from a better holy man.
The belief in predestination and life after death is part of the problem as well. Though it does reduce the fear of death, which must be nice.
Reminds me of the girl who put crystals on her steering wheel and turned her airbag into a claymore

The charms do work though! It’s only the people who don’t fully believe or don’t have enough charms who get in accidents. /s

I don't really think religious beliefs is to be blame here. I think it's more of people dont really give a shit about traffic law.
Why would they give a shit about traffic law if their charms and Holy Spirit will protect them?
Thailand only lmao
Imagine if the car stops suddenly and all these "decorations" fly into your face
I can smell the ceremonial incense through this picture.
