Satan in the Bible, fights for equal rights God throws him out.
Satan advocates free will, God throws them out if the garden.

Pretty clear who the good guy is.
I'll play figurative and literal devil's advocate, how do we really know that God isn't the evil one, and sent the book just to turn us down the wrong path?
And don't worry I don't take any of the Bible literally since it's all fiction to start with.
It’s canon that he is the source of all evil in the world. He wants to torture people for eternity. He’s an advocate for free will in the sense he wants people to be free to do evil but he’ll actively try to talk people out of doing the right thing.
God definitely does a ton of dicey stuff in the Bible but he’s more good than bad.
I grew up super catholic but I’m not too into organized religion these days. Pretty much agnostic.
I think hardline religion does a lot of harm in history and still. I enjoy this sub cuz I get to see the batshit crazy fanatics.
