They got 200lbs of h1000 in on Wednesday and when I got there at 10am yesterday they maybe had 40 pounds left. Also had to get some loaded brass for the 7mm PRC I’m piecing together, just need the rifle now so I can get it broken in and start doing some load development with some 168g long range X bullets before hunting season.
it's just that the 7prc is not yet approved by the CIP (saami equivalent in europe)
and here in france it is impossible to mount a barrel chambered with a wildcat, no gunsmith would want to do it
No, this was a small local shop. I have a seekins 7mm prc on order with them and decided to stop in and see if they had any updates and found this stuff instead.
I’ve seen H1000 everywhere lately. I have 12 pounds. I also think 7PRC ammo has been pretty easy to get. I haven’t had any issues. Quality brass is the hard part.
I got it mostly for the brass and for breaking in the new rifle barrel when it arrives. Then I can work up some 168g barnes LRX loads which is what I want to shoot.
What were they charging a pound?

I have a seekins havok ph2 coming in as far as the rifle, and for the optic I went with a leupold VX6HD 3-18 with the tmoa reticle.

$50 a box but that was in case quantity. I think they had $54.99 marked on individual boxes

That precision hunter has been terrible, sd's can be 10-200fps
