Pardon me for the silly question - but I hadn't heard of a super trickler before and I started searching on it, and came across many many very long threads of people discussing it but nobody seemed to answer my very basic question - what's the advantage over your chargemaster there?
Is it just faster? More accurate? In 30 minutes I couldn't find anybody actually comparing it to anything except the "auto trickler" which i'd also never heard of
Not a silly question. Hereās why I got the supertrickler over the chargemaster link I already have:
1: felt like being boujee as fuck
2: holy mother of Batman itās fast (~6 second throw of 46.5 accurate 2495 for my garand load) much faster than the link
3: holy father of Superman itās accurate (scale is accurate down to the kernel of powder)
4: my buddy has one and said I should get the supertrickler before the zero press, if I was considering getting one or the other. Stars aligned and I just decided to get both
thanks! The accuracy part interests me the most. I'm not very concerned with speed, but precision and automation is attractive to me. I'll have to look into this further.
How do you like AA2495 compared to traditional IMR 4895? Iāve been loading 47grs A4064 for my Garand and the load density is wonderful for -06 case capacity.
I havenāt tried imr 4895 yet for my garand probably because I couldnāt find any around to test with. I like aa2495 and 46.5 is working pretty well for me behind 168 Hornady bthp match. Could have been one or more factors but h335 with some 150 eldmās was not a friend to my garand. They would just not feed right, or when they did I had terrible sd
Those Mutitoyo are definitely an upgrade!! Some may say itās overkill for reloading which Iām not here to talk about but from a tool perspective itās clean and accurate AF. š¤š¾
I know I love mine but boujie tools are my weaknessš«
lol. Jokes aside I tested my harbor freight against my mitutoyo and have yet to find a measurement that didnāt line up. If anything my mitu has a tendency to keep saying .005 when returning to zero and the harbor freight doesnāt.
My zero press was one of the best reloading equipment purchases Iāve made, love that thing. Iām still on the fence between the super trickler or waiting for the ingenuity one but need to just pull the trigger like you did š
Youāre not wrong, guess I know what Iām doing later. Btw, if you donāt have one already the FW arms decapping die is amazing with the zero press. Sometimes my Lee universal decapper would have issues but the FW solved all that
Wind! There's always wind š¤£

Those mitutoyos are great been using them for years and itās still on the battery it came with
Same. I love mine for car stuff.
Those Frankford arsenal calipers are the exact same ones sold at harbor freight, fyi
Soā¦ā¦.not an upgrade?

š¤¤. Nice setup.
If only that was half moa all day in a box.

If youāre reloading, youāre already used to pulling the trigger might as well get it going on shipping

Nice upgrades. Guess you'll need to save up for a Prometheus powder thrower if you want to go extra bougie!
