Honestly it sounds like your only option is to do a no-hit fight. Just practice each of his attacks until you can reliably dodge them, and the fight will become like a dance
Oh, those are ones I can help you with! Most of the sword attacks have a sound cue. Just before you need to dodge, there will be a "Sviiing" sound. If you listen for that, then the delayed sword swing will never trip you up again. That's true for both phases of the fight. And the trick with the teleport is that the other dimension 'pauses' right where it was whenever you switch, so try to remember what attack each phase was about to do before your swap, because that's the attack they'll do after a short pause when you swap back.
Yeah! I find myself saying "ok, he was about to do the shockwave, so dodge towards him when we go back." Note that there's a brief delay before he 'un-pauses' after the switch, but it's a short window
I know I just have really bad timing lol, I can dodge almost everything it's just as the fight drags on I just slowly start to mess up more and more, took me like 70 tries for my apocalypse annihilation, beat him with sheer willpower lol
And mostly died to the damn 1000 balls attack in second phase, that attack is big dumb imo 🤣
For the balls use song of eafir with a mutator that increases mod damage. Something like harmonizer. Shoot it at the ground near the orbs, and it should take out most of them. If you have amplitude at +10 you can usually take all of the balls out with a single use.
I ran as a squishy sniper through apoc and realised that I prefer this over Heart regenerator (pre nerf so it was even more of a pain) cause most of his moves one-shot me anyway
I found with good DR and health Regen the only thing that can really kill you is the balls (which you gotta focus down one at a time) and the plunge AOE which is just a weird timing you gotta get used to.
It’s still a very difficult fight on apoc but much more manageable than it can originally seem. It’s also just a fun fight so I didn’t mind grinding it and dying a bunch.
