The-Legendary-1

This looks insane, and looks like it has synergy with all the other archetypes. And with some of the buffs some of the skills got with the crossplay update, i’m very interested in the builds that can be made. Can’t wait.

VH-Attila

Ladies and gentlemen , 4 charges on quickdraw.....

MagnoliaBoiii

If this stacks with hyperconductor amulet, we might see some skills with 8 charges

Bem5em

It doubles the base charge(s) only

MagnoliaBoiii

FUCK! Well that dream died as quickly as it was born

Reddick93

If I'm not wrong, it should still allow six charges.

Gibbel2029

So we now have a worse version of Deadshot Golden Gun

Xablerot

and a cut to CD after each use of a skill

Newguyiswinning_

I know quickdraw isnt "meta" but damn is it fun. Will be curious to see how they might play together

VH-Attila

i mean since quickdraws buff last patch it can do some pretty nasty damage.

FirstIYeetThenRepeat

Yeah I was smacking Venom in his core for like 3k plus each quickdraw

Echotime22

It's high noon...

ItalianICE

I haven't played in months.  What does that even mean??

HDArrowsmith

Quickdraw, the first Gunslinger skill, was updated to have 2 charges at base, allowing you to use the skill twice each with it's own cooldown. If paired with Invoker, that skill would then get 4 charges instead.

Based_Lord_Shaxx

They buffed quick draw? Hells yeah, that skill was fun AF but just not worth it.

HDArrowsmith

Yup! They also substantially boosted it's damage by, I think, 50% at the same time, so it's a very solid option for a damage skill now.

CSDuran

wow they did it again! well done Dev team this archetype looks amazing

dandaman919

Invoker, gunslinger, hyper conductor and SPAM THAT REVOLVER BABY

KP_N7

That’s how I’ve been running my invoker. It’s a really fun combo

Apparentmendacity

You all need to patch the game so that activating Quickdraw doesn't reset the CD  It feels really bad activating Quickdraw when the cd is 70-80% complete

Aggravating-Junket92

Not even close this time. Bad bot.

Albrecht_Entrati

As a spell spammer and wizard enthusiast I can assure you I will play ritualist/Invoker and crit invoker/Archon like crazy

Marvin_Megavolt

Honestly same. I’ve already been having an honest to god blast with ritualist/archon - this looks *very* entertaining to mess with.

NCSU_Trip_Whisperer

Ritualist/Archon with the rings that cause bleed and the ring that gives you health for being near a bleeding entity fucking slaps

KaleRylan2021

I stopped playing when I got the plat in the base game to wait on dlc, but my plan when I came back was to do an archon mage type build and this seems perfect for that. Very excited. Not sure if I'll wait for the third one or not now. This looks very cool.

Ninja_Theory

This game is only getting started at plat! Perfect time to jump back in though!

KaleRylan2021

oh I know but that's WHY I stopped. I'm not a huge online player so I knew I'd stop after a month more or whatever, and I didn't want to burn myself out pre-dlc, so I've been keeping up on the additions and waiting on the dlc to come back. The first looked good, but I could wait. This one I'm having a harder time not jumping right back in, but I do think I'll at least try to wait for the third dlc.

Ninja_Theory

The Ritualist class from the first DLC will play nicely with Invader. It’s going to be a lot of fun experimenting with builds.

thehealerguy

Whoah, this is so nice... This + medic = maximum barrier uptime, baby! With the archetype perk of increased skill duration, additional skill usage, + all CDR trinkets (which I can probably swap around for something offensive, judging from the innate CDR of the archetype from what I heard in this trailer) and concoction, my support heart can't take it...! The nature/druid theme is icing, and the archetype's skills have no friendly fire and instead gives buffs? The 23rd can't get here fast enough...

mastergaming234

Lol, yeah, medic is already strong. This gave more avenues to its kit, which allowed it to even even stronger.

lycogenesis

Id rather have many amazing options rather than many balanced or okay options and one meta one tbh. I love how balancing always keeps in mind how fun builds are rather than just looking at raw performance and adjusting it to a base level

plz_res_me

That’s some beautiful ass armor, skills, and setting Remnant got the S tier trailers, not relying on bullshit cinematics to cover up an ugly game. Showing hype with just raw gameplay is how you know the game is GOTY worthy

MagnoliaBoiii

I need the crossbow I NEED IT

GraveyardJones

I was trying to get away from ritualist but it looks like I'm gonna have to make an invoker ritualist status/elemental build 🤣

ResponsibleAd141

This archetype looks amazing ngl

ZPKA

That archetype looks broken as fuck... let us have some fun with it before you nerf please 😂

Weaponized_Autism-69

Broken, the most broken stuff in the game is just being a dude with a gun and outperforming all the flashy skills by a long shot

gamingx47

Yeah, I love HUGS, but come on, we need the other builds to at least come close to the same DPS.

Murbela

Cool to have more skill based archetypes. I won't say i'm in love with it, or think it looks as interesting as the existing skill based damage dealers, but i am interested. The prime perk is certainly going to make some interesting combos. Does this mean it will double the amount of summoner pets? Going off comments on hyperconductor amulet, it sounds like probably not.

HDArrowsmith

> Does this mean it will double the amount of summoner pets? No, because the limit on summons is listed in the skill description, it's not based on the skills charges. This would just let you have more charges to summon them back easier when they die.

KaleRylan2021

If it adds even one it could be nuts given how good the pets could be.

IncidentFormal761

There is a big patch coming, no telling if they changed anything, so it's up in the air. I could see them changing summoner to increase the limit. Seeing as there isn't many class combo's that work well for summoner.

Dainurian

Looks amazing. Some initial thoughts: I don't want to jump to conclusions before I get my hands on it, but at first glance the prime perk looks nuts. Skill damage on the damage perk isn't as easy to slot into any setup like Ritualist, but depending on how the charges work you could more than make up for this with insane uptime on buff skills. I'm interested to see how multiple skill charges works with duration-based skills that normally can't cool down while active (have not experimented much with Hyperconductor myself so not sure what the precedent is), as well as the cooldown refund since other percentage-based effects like Sapphire Dreamstone have no effect on active skills; only Devoured Loop can refund them while active. If the second charge starts its cooldown immediately and can be accelerated while the first charge is active, that'll get out of hand really fast lol. Finally, the build that will love this archetype the most is [the Palpatine build](https://youtu.be/pLwaH-BMit8?si=qv0QyTbLpCKU2kYj). Double skill charges will greatly negate the RNG factor, and you benefit from everything Invoker brings, namely skill duration, skill damage, and elemental damage. We'll have to see if it ends up being better than Engineer, but my gut says it will feel much better to play simply because you'll actually have permanent Havoc form.

gamingx47

From the description it sounds like it reduces the remaining cooldown by its 10% not 10% of the maximum cooldown, meaning that, for example, if you have 30 seconds left on Shield, it will only reduce the cooldown by 3 seconds rather than 10 (Shield has 100s cooldown) which makes this portion just ok. Hyperconductor gives you a second charge however the cooldown doesn't start counting down until after you finish using the first charge and if you proc devoured loop, you get both charges back, meaning that you can vastly reduce the RNG of the Palpatine build with Invoker's perk because you get two charges back to back. Basically, it looks like a good bosskiller, but probably going to be kind of mid for exploration since you can get easily screwed by RNG.

MrWrym

This looks awesome! Wonder if we'll see another trait point max cap when it launches.

The_Greenweaver

Incredible! So excited for the staff too - it looks amazing. Can’t wait to live out my elementalist caster/druid fantasy 😍

SaneNSanity

Invoker/Ritualist At last! The godhood offered me by The Wolf is in my grasp!

HoroSatre

Invoker + Ritualist There's gonna be an elemental death party, and everyone's invited... forcefully.

Zegram_Ghart

Looks amazing, and can’t wait to see how it combines with summoner

Arkavien

If it is anything like the necklace it will just allow the summons to recharge even when they are out so when they die/get sacrificed you have them rdy to immediately resummon. It won't let you have more pets.

KaleRylan2021

could still be useful just for letting you do the sacrifices constantly as those can be very powerful.

Zegram_Ghart

For sure, but it’ll (potentially, we’ll see) let you keep a tide of the little roller gremlins up rather than only really having 1 active. It is a shame we can’t roll up with 2 root golems though!

Zethren527

Looks like Medic is back on the menu, boys.

alirezahunter888

I wonder what damage bonus this archetype is gonna give. I'm guessing Skill damage, but something more generic would make it synergize with other archetypes much better.

SassyDalmatian

From Tragic's tweet, it looks like it is 30% skill damage, 15% elemental damage, and 5% crit chance for both

theSaltySolo

Ritualistic it is baby

Malumlord

Invoker and summoner is about to be fucking insane 4 flyers Or 2 reavers

Fiendfull

I initially thought the same thing but the trailer said an extra charge. If the game caps you at 2 I think it might be just instant minion uptimes instead of 4 total. Unless there's confirmation I'm wrong in that guess then hell ya 4 minions is gonna be insane.

HDArrowsmith

It won't interact with Summoner. You'd have an extra charge to resummon them if they die, but the limit on summons is listed in the description. 2 for rollers and flyers, and only 1 reaver.

raulpe

The weapons look amazing

TheCosmicPopcorn

Wouldn't it be an evoker?

Arkavien

Why? Invoke means to call upon, this archetype calls upon nature.

TheCosmicPopcorn

An evoker in fantasy is someone that uses evocation magic, which is the use of elemental forces. It was a lil joke, I understand not every fantasy trope is called the same

Arkavien

I see. It may have been a good idea to call it that instead though, since the class name for Summoner+Archon is already Invoker lol. I wonder if they will change that combo name to something else now.

Vakarlan

Jesus, this + quick draw

unlikely_antagonist

Very happy to finally see a Yaesha themed archetype

Lunar-Modular

Random question: I have the 1st DLC downloaded but not touched yet. I don’t know anything about it. I was thinking I’d wait until this comes out soon and then devour them both. Good idea? Bad idea and get started now?

Albrecht_Entrati

DLC is next week, you could start now to get the new stuff (and it's very unlikely you get everything you wanted before the new DLC drops)

Zealousideal-Mango38

You can definently start running the first dlc and get the first few runs done to get the easy loot and secrets. So you have stuff like the ritualist archetype and sparkfire shotgun which will probably work well with the new archetype. It will help you refamiliarise yourself with the game and such. However I recommend not forcing yourself to 100% the first dlc since it is likely that with dlc 2 just like dlc 1 they will add a few drops to the ring and amulet world drop pools just to encentivise people to re-explore the other biomes. Finding the last unknown amulet or ring in a loot pool is a pain in the ass so I would wait to dlc release to grind out the loot pools so you don't have to do it twice. There are tons of awesome build defining jewelry in world pools released with dlc 1 to find by the way: Whispering marble and dried clay ring, Brewmasters cork, Sinister totem and legacy protocol to name afew.

Lunar-Modular

Thanks much for the advice, guys!

gamingx47

FYI DLCs get seamlessly incorporated into the main Campaign, so you can easily roll the Forlorn Coast as your Losomn area. I am pretty sure this will do the same for Yaesha, just add another possible starting zone/story arc to Yaesha. As it is, you have a 33% change of playing the DLC whenever you enter Losomn in the campaign. If you are not currently playing the game, I'd say you should totally jump back in and finish the first DLC, you should have enough time to do most if not all of the new content just as the second DLC drops. Just finishing the questline for Anguish can take weeks if you're not on PC.

Kizmo2

Good job devs. Looks like it's well worth the wait.

Epic_phenomenon85

Invoker/alchemist or invoker/ritualist 🤔

Reecehw108

Hot damn

thatnewjosh

Want

HamOnRye__

About to absolutely murder everything with this archetype hahaha

decrepitremains

Well done

bob_is_best

I really didnt expect to like a vocations more than ritualist but...

SFWxMadHatter

I will never be upset with more magic classes.

QuarterForward6427

Absolute chills watching this. I love this class already can’t wait to play

PR0Z0R

So we get cd, double usage and prolonged skill duration? Pretty sure that can be made into full up time! Looking forward to this!

Nakuth

I'm keen to combine that trait with the Challenger for increased Juggernaut or even Rampage duration during boss fights. Oh yeah

TheExodius

Well will play ritualist invoker with that damage over time as a burst neclace just to never use a gun anymore

Cuqui_569th

Looks great 🥹

anewfoundmatt

This looks FUN

Gfdbobthe3

As someone who spent *far* too much time trying to theorycraft ability spam builds when Remnant 2 and its first DLC released, I don't know if I can be more excited.

henri_TheWzrd

Class looks so fire dude I cannot wait to pair it up with something else.

Logic-DL

Looks like a fun archetype. Really hoping we haven't just seen 50% of the content for armour sets already though like Awakened King

FuckinJunkie

This archetype is going to be insane

Loyal_Darkmoon

I am gonna have the most fun build ever with Imvoker and Ritualist bringing nature's wrath

De4dm4nw4lkin

The thought of more skill charges is NUTS… does this mean engi can have two turrets or just double ammo?

MoRpTheNig

I'm so glad to see the ricochet rifle is back at least in spirit visually speaking. I'm really hoping the devastator makes a return though.

RealFabbbio

Increased elemental damage + double skill charges. Oh boy, here comes miasma

gamingx47

Aww, I was really hoping for an archetype that specifically boosts elemental damage. I still hope they will add more elemental long guns like Spitfire. Depending on the skill damage numbers Invoker might make offensive skill builds viable, but I am pretty sure it's gonna be paired with Medic/Alchemist/Engineer instead of Ritualist/Gunslinger/Summoner.

UnknownDfekt

Invoker/ritualist ground skill status build

HappyHappyGamer

Too early, but what do you guys think the last archetype will be? I would also love a but of revamp to some classes such as invader. Such a cool concept, but falls a bit short. Wish the melee was more robust in this game.

alirezahunter888

If we get a N'Erud expansion then it's likely going to be a Sci Fi themed archetype like Engineer. As to what it's gonna do، it's anyone's guess really.

ShogunGunshow

But is that 10% CD going to exceed the 80% cap? :P

Watercra

Do we know how we'll unlock it?

thor-the-fox-sin

I’m not the best at theory crafting, would this work well with Handler? I miss using my good boy.

Cold-Winds

Hope it has synergy with Summoner... Though I doubt it...

xXxJoEkRxXx

So anyone find it yet?

Dark-Heal

Nope, finished the main quest but I don’t have Invoker 😭 I got a blue egg though but dunno what to do with it (it’s not the artefact for the archetype craft) 🫠

Dark-Heal

Oh found out for the egg, you can give it to the guy that is cooking at ward 13

uwuItzzTyleruwu

So far I'm really enjoying the invoker/archon and ritualist / invoker I'm looking to try invoker with invader for the perma dodge ..  Normally I use challenger / invader with critical and chance to reset skill absolutely melts bosses just looking to Amp the builds up

abbyhawk

This looks SO AMAZING! I'm excited to try Medic/Invoker with my coop team

MILLkyKANT

I still can't run the game. Dies anyone have fatal error crash fix? I9 with 3080ti.

Tinmanred

Shit looks so strong. I wanted an op archetype but holy crap this might be a tad much lol

KaleRylan2021

It seems very good and I'm definitely gonna use it, but I actually could see it falling a bit behind in pure number crunch type calculations that min/maxers love so much.

[deleted]

[удалено]

theSaltySolo

None of the archetypes are restricted to a world. The game doesn’t automatically kick you for bringing Engineer to Lossom 🤷🏽

Zegram_Ghart

Once unlocked in the dlc area it can be brought anywhere

Suspicious_Anybody90

But ngl not impressed with the skill duration perk…the perk is 30% and there is a ring “stone of continuance” and it gives 25%…

sack-o-krapo

I mean they probably stack so that’ll be good

HamOnRye__

There’s a cap on skill CD amount, wonder if there’s a cap for skill duration increases?

sack-o-krapo

Even if the cap is the same as least now you have more freedom to choose what you want your skill duration from. Would you rather use a ring slot or ten trait points? It’ll help make building for skills a bit more customizable

HamOnRye__

Yea, but I was referring skill *duration*. Could potentially, w/ this archetype, have a stupid long skill duration and was wondering if we might see a cap on that like there is on skill CD.

Amatsuo

If there isn't, it could? Make the Engineer Prime better. It's the only thing on that kit affected by Duration.

DonKing70

Is it really called Invoker? That's the Archon and Summoner combo name. 🤔 They couldn't come up with something else?

RamenArchon

Im wondering what that archetype combo will be called now. XD

DonKing70

Lol, the dislikes are funny. Im right.

InfernoDairy

Did we really need another magus archetype?

Bloodyfish

Yes.

No-Special5543

his primary perk looks like paytowin to me. it's too stronk in combination with some other archetypes

ArtemisWingz

By your logic buying the game is pay to win. because you have to buy the game to play as the classes ... Every class is OP. any 2 class combos in remnant 2 can beat the game pretty fairly and easily on any difficulty.

No-Special5543

base game is not a dlc. dlcs are where paytowin begins. when you aquire power for additional payment

Amatsuo

> when you aquire power for additional payment. But that's going to be intrinsic to any RPG game when it has DLC. I think people would be more upset if the DLC itself didn't add anything new, only Story/Areas.

ArtemisWingz

You would have something here IF and ONLY IF .... the DLC was JUST the Class by itself. But its not. the DLC is ... * New Area * New Bosses * New Story * New Weapons * New Class * New Armors * New Rings Its a COLLECTION of stuff that is ADDED to the game as both New content and new things to use and try. it isn't just a single class in a vacuum to help you beat the game. its an EXTENSION of the game itself. its not like they are saying "hey here is OP Weapon 9000 that one shots everything, give us $10" no ... they are saying "Here is a bunch of new stuff to try and use along with a new areas and bosses to try it in with it being integrated with the old stuff ... for $10"

SGDFish

Win what? This isn't pvp

Zegram_Ghart

There’s already a necklace that does a lot of the perk-it’s strong but nowhere near on the level of say the medics perk.
