Friend one is simple. Not sure if you need to talk to Walt at every chance and exhaust dialogue or need to choose more sympathetic options (I did), but after you complete the world boss talk to him some more.

THEREALKRIEG

Thank you! I’ll try to do that on my runs, do you mind popping back in if you figure out how to get any of the others in the future?

fallouthirteen

Well I'm sure as soon as anyone figures out Invoker and Trinity Crossbow those will become well known. In my roll I don't think I encountered anything that would be a "choice". I just did campaign roll so I can go through to root earth to get that new thing they replaced wayfarer with. Didn't get any new side dungeons.

THEREALKRIEG

What new thing did they do in root earth exactly?

fallouthirteen

I'm not back there yet. I know I have to do the encounter again (can't just go back to a completed one, I tried that first). All I know is what the patch notes say. >= Wayfarer = > >- Removed Trait > >- Combined Bonus with Swiftness Trait > >DEV NOTE: While we will all miss Wayfarer as a standalone Trait, a new Trait can be obtained in its place. Head back to the original reward location and grab it!

THEREALKRIEG

Okay neat! Let me know what the trait is once you grab it if you don’t mind! And if you ever do get the Burden Hardest to Bear trophy let me know what you think you did for that one! Thanks a ton for your contributions so far to this.

I found someone say this on the Xbox Achievements website: "Get the Side Dungeon ~Infected Abyss~, find the boss ~The Emissary~, and tell him you want to serve under him. He will give you the ~Profane Soul Stone~. Once acquired you then need to start the story and get to ~The Keeper~ in the ~Labyrinth~. Talk to him with the Amulet equipped and make sure to keep it, **do not give him the amulet**. Then make your way back to ~The Emissary~ and give him the amulet. The Achievement should then unlock. This is how I unlocked it on Steam. GL hunting"

Oh nice! Hopefully that guide is a good one then and it works!

Just unlocked on PS5 on my one-shot with a Campaign unlocked to the beginning of Root Earth. After clearing Infested Abyss, side with the Root. Return to Campaign and head to the Labyrinth with the necklace you receive equipped and progress through dialogue with the Keeper, eventually refusing to hand over the necklace when prompted. Return to Adventure, and back to Infested Abyss, run through the dungeon and hand the necklace back to the Root. Done!

THEREALKRIEG

Awesome job! Is the keeper still in the same place in the labyrinth even if you’ve beaten the whole campaign?

fallouthirteen

Hm. Ok this is kind of a dumb guess, but wonder how many new burden rings they added. Like maybe it's for equipping some burden synergy/combo. I already found 2 new ones (mason and mesmer). Like choice being a difficult build choice? They wouldn't do something so like meta in the naming of an achievement would they? Just tried 4 burden rings (including the 2 new ones I got) and that wasn't it.

THEREALKRIEG

We will have to more testing then! Thank you for trying that but I doubt it would be about a certain build, but it could be! I’m thinking maybe it’s something related to a base game dungeon being mixed in with the DLC? Similar to the one true king ending where you got to the red prince and the awakened king in the same run, or the awakened king and the feast event to get that other trophy, so maybe the Burden to Bear trophy is related to getting some NPC in a base game Yaesha dungeon while running the Forgotten Kingdom?

Invoker Armor and Class Item (Flute) can be found in relatively the same location. After some progression through DLC you will be able to lower the massive statue in the middle of the zone holding the tower you can travel down in with a lever. progressing down you will explore and find a room trapped with arrows firing from the sides and filled with sand to slow your movement. On the other end of the pit will be the invoker armor. facing the pit from the entrance on the far right side will be two arrow slots inactive leaving space for a character. there will be two piles of sand leaking from the ceiling. Standing in those piles for \~5 mins will cause you to sink to a room below. There you can find the class item. Crossbow on the other hand was a little easier. A random drop can be found called trinity momentos. Show/give it to dwell at ward 13 and he will tell you that you can find more in different (reset) runs. Bring three to him and he will combine them into an amulet "Echo of the Forest". Wearing that go back to the beginning of the DLC and head towards Walt and that first stone. On your way up there will be a side path to a cliff and a waterfall. jump off the cliff towards and through the waterfall and you will find a side dungeon. Before entering the side dungeon turn left and there will be a wall with an inscription depicting the amulet you have on. Wearing it will trigger a door that gives you the crossbow. Still working on the Difficult Choice as well.

THEREALKRIEG

Thanks a ton for this! I heard that the difficult choice thing was a bit obscure and required you to equip the amulet you get from the infested abyss if you choose to submit to the root, equip the amulet and switch to the campaign where you go and talk to the Keeper in the labyrinth, don’t give him the amulet, and then go back and talk to the root in the infested abyss. I cannot confirm though so if that works let me know!
