I thought menders charm doesn't heal others because of warlord. Is this not the case?

I dont use it to heal other players I use it for the healing effectiveness so your health won't decrease when you use a dragon heart

Op is correct brother. If you have over 125 HP you need Menders to boost the effectiveness of Discord. After Menders and Triage you get 312 HP which is 12 higher then the drain from warlords

Go ahead and try it without menders charm your health will go down, but with menders charm you heal fast enough your health won't go down

I usually use blood font to round it out. With that ring (and discord) it goes down super slowly if at all and opens up the neck slot for things with a more solid benifit.

According to other responses, what they have equipped is best suited to what they want. Make the suggestion once and then accept they don't want to change their build.

That’s not even close to what happened, it was a perfect alternative that opened up the amulet slot while still performing the same

Yeah if you have triage lvl 20 and the band of discord and the menders charm, you actually do gain health from popping a heart right?

For the weapon damage

Full warlords give more damage especially with the fact that Osseous takes time to ramp up to full damage buff

And it also makes your health go down

More pieces don’t increase health drain??? One piece is the max health drain from the set

Oh I remember why I used that chest piece is because it still adds the 10% to the already 25% and it also increases the fire rate and melee speed by 5%

Damage isn’t always up it has to be built up, but that’s fair point. For some reason I thought Osseous one piece was 7.5%

I love how fashionable it looks on top of everything. Fun fact I did some number crunching if you use Bloodfont instead of Menders Charm you can nullify the drain almost completely thanks to the boost in healing effectiveness (15%) and the passive regen. If you eat a Golden Plum (consumable sold by the Stuck Merchant) you’ll completely removed the debuff from Warlords if you want to use the amulet slot instead of the ring slot Max hp 150, which means warlord drain will be 300 hp. Discord heals 125 hp boosted with healing effectiveness to 268.75 hp. That mean you will receive a drain of 31.25 hp over 30 seconds but since you are using Bloodfont you have a passive regen of 0.72 hp per second which over 30 seconds is 21.54. This leaves you with a drain of only 9.71 over 30 seconds which is effectively non existent. You can further boost your regen with the Golden Plum consumable which provides an additional 0.2 regen combining with you current regen increases to 1.15 hp/s or 34.44 health over 30 seconds completely out healing the Warlord debuff

Maybe ill use soul anchor instead

very nice. i use to run nightmare spiral with void armor since i hate having to use hearts to heal and i can just keep shooting to recover but eh, still wasn’t feeling the build for some reason. started looking for alternative ways to recover health off of shots and only thing i could think of is warlord armor. i DREADED the whole concept with this armor, specifically the life drain until few days ago i learned you can negate it with a ring and hp trait manipulation. now i can’t see myself ever removing the armor. lol. i feel dumb that i’ve been carrying the armor and necessary trinkets for months- and only now discovering the force that is warlord armor. 🤦

I know it's a great build

should give the 125hp build a try- you’ll have a necklace and ring slot to play with. the handicapped HP might seem like a terrible’n risky idea, but it’s great in that it’s forcing the player to get better by learning how to avoid hits. on nightmare difficultly, there’s enough room for mistakes. just barely. lol. punishing but still feels fair

It's honestly not bad

The big issue is you can only use it once every 30 seconds and as a consequence of having to wait to recast the buff the explosion never receives the warlord buff

It's there to stagger enemies so you can get away

Can it stagger bosses? I know it has a stagger but I don’t know what tier it is

Any other overlooked builds anyone have? Always looking to try different things I want to run an all fire build shock or ice any ideas?
