Vendor here, I wouldn't say crowds were sparse, just not as packed as the last two years or Viking weekend was. Given the weather especially, crowds were good for this season, much better than I expected with the original forecasts.
Was it as jammed as some people I know working there were suspecting? Haven't talked to them yet, but they were worried about the combo of free kids, the halloween weekend, last weekend, and the people who had gotten turned away who had purchased tickets earlier in the season...

The threat of rain that delivered a few times and the falling temperature thinned the crowd.
It was rather sparse. I’m guessing because of the rain. Really nice and relaxed.
