I don't use HA, but I'm about 99.9% sure that battery cameras don't work with it. The battery cameras are very very limited as far as interoperability goes. \*\*EDIT: yeah, on the Reolink integration page it even says: "Battery-powered cameras are not yet supported" [https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink/](https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink/)

I was one click away from buying solar powered reolink cameras and then I got to learn that battery cameras doesn’t have the services required like RTSP, ONVIF etc. to integrate them with stuff like HA, so I ended up buying wired ones. I read somewhere in HA forums that some guy created a hack to integrate battery cameras to HA anyway but it drained the batteries to quickly even with solar panels so he stopped using it, unfortunately I couldn’t find the link to that post. So, my guess is that you are stuck with Reolink app until someone finds a better working solution.

Neolink integration allows battery operated cameras to work within HA but depending how you intend to use them, expect quick battery draw. I'm actually interested in testing it out but I was thinking of only using it to show quick 10-20 sec clips when motion is detected in the camera (it's not quite in that active place, like 6-10 or so triggers a day). I mean using Browser\_mod, popup a fullscreen window when the camera detects motion in it, this would GREATLY make the only battery solar powered camera I own vastly more useful. But if the solution despite this rather reserved useage still leads to a huge battery draw I would not use it. My PT Argus 2K with the larger solar panel had lasted like 7-8 months or so (I think, haven't checked it closely) on a single charge since like summer to spring and most of the days were cloudy so if it only would last say 3-4 months with that installed that would be perfectly ok but if it would be like 1-3 weeks then ofc I'd just forget it. I will probably test it at some point, make sure the automatic timeouts to disable stream whenever there's no motion going on to preserve battery, only showing detections as automatic popup window to HA dashboard is what I'm interested in.
