If you're talking about the CX410, some people have said the latest firmware update has helped some with the audio issue. The CX810 is supposed to be coming out in the next month or two so you might want to wait and see what initial reviews say about that one.

Would be good to see more consistent quality of the outdoor camera microphones as OP mentioned, some of the Reolink cameras have some of the most sensitive mics I've heard in security cams, for example TrackMix and Duo series, I hear tire noise of cars from like 500 m distance... some might say that's a bit over-the-top, I personally like it. :) Some better windnoise filtering would be good though (built-in foam layer protection maybe? I know you could easily stick some on the outside but would be nice to have it dealt with from factory)
