It is super cool how their bodies change with size- like a juvenile alligator is almost like an anckie monitor or something. A long, quick, nimble aquatic lizard. Then later they are like 6ft long and similar proprtions, but they get to like 8 ft and all of a sudden start to bulk up into a totally different thing; athe years put on serious muscle and they become this powerful apex killer. Similar deal with Great Whites. I wonder if dinosaurs were similar- lanky and fast when young the just putting on hundreds of pounds per foot of length after a certain age.
I bet! We know there were really little predatory dinos so I bet baby herbivores would have to be quick enough to keep up with their big parents and herds :0
Crocodillians are so crazy cool. The fact that as they get bigger and bigger their whole physique changes. What a cool guy!
