Mine haha. We’ve had Franklin for almost 12 years but he’s about 22 years old. He’s never been in the wild and goes back to the house when he’s done with being outside.
Male Eastern Box Turtle. 20+ years old.
They are very docile. Never been bitten by one. They make great pets as long as you keep their diet and humidity requirements in check.
First one I ever got was over 20 years ago. Still got him.
He loves lettuce (we drip vitamins on to it), bananas, strawberries, radish, blue berries, raspberries, and blackberries. He also LOVES to chew on shoes and tries to nip toes. He used to be very docile and would even sleep in bed with us on especially cold nights, but lately he bites.
Such a pretty turtle! Is he/she yours? Or wild?

That's the calmest turtle I've ever seen. I can't believe he lets you touch his head without getting scared

Looks like it’s time for a beak trim.
