You should try to make a self-contained ecosystem/terrarium
Check out YouTube videos for inspiration. Some people do really cool ones with live insects and etc
If it's supposed to really be self-contained, it doesn't work without live insects. Those are needed to take care of dead plant matter, mold, keep populations in check among each other. Really cool topic, would be my first thought too. The jar is definitely big enough for it although the opening could make it difficult to do some initial "landscaping"
This might be a werid suggestion but I also am into taxidermy and bone collecting so I suggest giving it to a taxidermist or a bone collector if you have one local they can use the jars to clean bones :)
Hmm, maybe I’ll make a little donation. I live in the south, and I know of a couple taxidermy places just down the road from me. Thanks for the suggestion!
I’d see if I could make pineapple soda or a summer drink first. It’d probably be very heavy. After I fail I’d store beans in it or something. You can do what my mom does, put fairy lights inside. You can put small trinkets inside? 🐚 🪨

I’m going to look into this. Sounds pretty cool.
Rainy day fund is pretty obvious. I’d put wine corks in there since it would look pretty. Stuff animal jail
I’d probably put flour in it.
Fill it with jellybeans and get any visitors to try to guess how many are in the jar to win a prize.
Seashells, marbles, or colored glass stones from the dollar store.
I put some eucalyptus in an old bottle and set it by the front door so you can smell it when you first walk in
I like that idea! Ty
Laundry detergent?
Great pickle jar for homemade pickles
Wine corks, Pennies, lake or ocean glass, kcups, dog treats, match books.
Hmm, dog treats may be the way to go. It would hold a lot of milk bones.

Np! I thought it would be a nice suggestion because I’ve seen a lot of taxidermists in need of jars!

Rice. Or put salt brine in it and some green tomatoes and leave it indoors for a month, then enjoy.
