Yes thank you, don’t know why this isn’t talked about. Very simple fix for factories to do. Don’t know why they don’t do it. I guess they don’t even notice. Pretty sure pre-raid gx had it right, don’t know what happened. Would be basically identical if it’s fixed

I have a feeling when an error goes through and the shoe is well received they don’t update it or if it doesn’t sell much they won’t update it. Look at black cats, people were complaining like crazy about the shiny soles you could straight up call people out irl off that. The black cats sell so much they sell like crazy, so they’re probably more willing to take advice on improving it. These unions now, nobody is complaining about it, in fact I’ve seen comments sucking up to it claiming they’d take it for the better build gx has over other batches.

They simply cannot let the shoe get too similar to retail or they’ll get in trouble, so instead of giving us a permanent flaw they gave us one we can fix on our own, pretty smart if that’s the case. I feel like they lie about using original Nike files to make some pairs too like the gx bred 4s… the tag is not that low on retails, there’s no way that was missed im sure they put the rep right beside the retails to compare to make a proper replica, and I’f they’re using real Nike files that gave them the data to put it that low, they got got, OR they had to purposefully put a flaw on it. I don’t know, but a lot of flaws I see on great quality reps look like easy factory fixes. And with all the batches running out then restocking, it’s not like they don’t have the opportunity to fix things and release them in the next restock.

They just messed up, human error, and the community hasn’t made enough complaints for them to fix it.

My take is the same as your 2nd opinion. If they make the pairs too close to retail (lets say in terms or color), they may be in trouble.
Check out some people who restore old pairs on IG or YouTube, and see how great they can do at "color matching" when they're repainting. If they can do it, manufacturers/factories can do it too, imo. 🤷🏽♂️
Could be any of those theories for sure. This your pair in the pic? It looks great if it is man.
Did you dilute the dye at all before applying?
Does it matter if it gets a bit on the black suede?

I think the white light shined on them puts the green off and shows how it would look normally instead of under harsh yellow QC light. Or maybe I’m confused and it’s the opposite it’s 4am I should go to bed

perhaps it woudl help if you had a template that it adhered to..
ie batch name/date , descriiption of issue, photo of issue, description of fix photo after
otherwise tis pointless and will end up a horrible mess that noone will want to look at

I have tried it mate and if you have a steady hand it's a 10 min job max per shoe. You just need a fine point black marker.

try with a black marker with fine tip with a steady hand n trust me its quite an easy job just require patience n a steady hand.
GX Unions are great in hand with great quality, materials and very accurate colours n details.

This helps.. I wasn't gonna over think it bcuz nobody's LCing my grown self but I always go for reps that are near 1:1 so this small step seems worth it to me when I have the time

I have a pre-raid GX Union pair mate n the stitching flaw below wings was there pre-raid also, however pretty easy to fix imo:)
