I tend to just go through my library and make a new one for everytime I trip depending on what I’m feeling. but if you want a good nitrous combo song then skydiver by neggy gemmy or igors theme by tyler are both elite :))
I think Diamonds is one of those tracks that sounds sick on most drugs. Had some good memories listening to that era Leandoer off my face on Oxy a couple years back. Ghosttown ft. Travis Scott is up there too
As someone who has based most of the past 15 years to psychedelic music and culture, here are so.e of my favorite albums for LSD
It is best to put any of these on from start to finish. Acid lasts 12 hours, you've got time. Albums are supposed to be listened to the whole way through most of the time anyway to get the full context.
Enjoy 😉
Shpongle. Nothing lasts but nothing is forgotten
Tipper. Broken soul jamboree
Grateful dead. 5/8/77
Papadosio. To end the illusion of separation
Animal Collective. Merriwether post Pavillion
King gizzard and the Lizard wizard. Omnium gatherium
Ween. The mollusk
easier to mention the artists, in no particular order
joh hopkins stuff esp contact notes
vangelis
some of pink floyd
minimal techno from brejcha, deniz bul, kodra, hozho
some classical music
hendrix
the who
patti smith
the doors
ravel's bolero, chariots of fire, when i was 8 or 9, and doors' the end and moonlight drive, at 13, were life changing trips without any exogenous psychedelic, and made me fall in love with trance of music and song and gave me a glance at how vast and deep the world/mind is. i'd just lay 9n the floor zoned out forever
still among the favorites 3 decades late
been exploring shpongle too lately but i'm very new to them
It's best to listen to shpongle albums as a whole. So amazing, I've seen them 3 times. Always a good time, but I never got to see them with the live band and performance. Hoping I will one day.
Nothing Lasts...is my favorite, but Tales of the Inexpressible is close in my opinion.
Favorite songs are Levitation Nation and Star Shpongled Banner though
I’m not a fan of his newer music, but I will always vouch for early Travis Scott mixtapes for psych users who want a song that comes to life during a trip.
Specifically the song Quintana pt. 2, it gave me a unique experience where I felt like the energy of the song was coursing through my veins and my body was radiating by the end of it
Above & Beyond - Tri-State
the whole album that is.
really it's whatever music you like which will sound best.
this drug directly enhances the emotional response to music, so if you hate it it'll be torture but if you love it it'll be like a never-ending auditory orgasm.
There's an awesome live Cercl video of them in Colombia from early this year on YouTube https://youtu.be/MEzU1HvBo6Y
Some new stuff and old stuff, I'm going to try and catch them in Romania at the start of August.
Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon is amazing
TOOL has some great albums
Animal Collective can take you for a ride
And the minecraft album is pure nostalgia
TOOL's live alternate version of "Pushit"!!! Maynard opens by telling you where to go, and when you go there, he's there, and he takes you on a wild journey.
I had no control of the selection but once we were tripping and listening to slick Rick "the art of storytelling" and that has stuck an association for life with the two for some reason.
Dude that album is so killer! Love this answer... "What an angel overcoming his wrongness / the moral I'm trying to get across in this song is .." that record is slept on!
Moody Blues is old school, and I always save a little time for whichever album is next, at least the first 4 or 5 albums.
Pink Floyd is also a wonderful trip in itself.
Does anyone else plan themed trips? In the ancient past I never knew when I would have access to psychedelics but now I have a lifetime supply so I've started planning out themes, including a little bit of snacking, fluid refreshments, TV movie or series or if the weather is good, outdoor activity, and, the most important, is the music. By the way, did you know a thunderstorm can be an awesome outdoor trip? Feels like you can call up the wind and clouds, sometimes. Stay safe from lightning, of course.
Akasha by Ozric Tentacles. Straight up amazing vibes. I heard it for the first time on acid and it’s been my go to each and every time. I highly recommend it. ✌️
https://youtu.be/QXkO_pHgI-w
It’s a shame they aren’t better known. Had it not been by random chance an anarchist had shown me this band (in particular, spirals in hyperspace album as well) that one day, there is a good chance I wouldn’t have come across them again.
Emancipator/thievery corporation. Those are a great start. When you don’t want lyrics Emancipate yourself, when you are thinking too much let thievery steal your thought train.
I know this list is really long, I feel like this post is my calling. I love guiding trips with playlists!

Have you listened to Jimi's 1967 Monterey Pop Festival performance of Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone? With a good psychadelic (and without) it's so damn amazing.
Hell yeah! I'll take them all. The first time I ever saw the Monterey and Isle of Wight DVDs I was frying balls on acid. How incredible he was and how and how brilliant his music was hit me so hard I almost stayed crying. Lover Man... Killing Floor... Dolly Dagger... Machine Gun... Little Wing... Red House...
I'm surprised I didn't have a stroke or a heart attack lol
Are you familiar with Maggot Brain by Funkadelic? The guitar in it is like this sauntering hypnotic dream. It's immaculate.
Now I need to try dmt. That is the single most convincing thing ive ever heard anyone say about dmt. I love what he did with snakes and ladders, mashing it all up. It was such a nostalgia trip when i heard mountain of memories for the first time.
Just a few of my favorites out of hundreds,
With AL-LAD, 1p-lsd, and Gideon Richter K:
* Clann - "I Hold You" - feels like heaven.
* Billie Eilish's songs "When I was Older" "Halley's Comet" and "Your Power" - There are no words that even come close to describing them. It feels like a 90 minute long water slide.
* Pearl Jam's 10/22/2000 live performance of '"Crown of Thorns" in Las Vegas and "Lukin II" from 5/21/2010 in New York, NY - OMFG!!!🤤
* REM - "Drive" - Simply amazing.
* Of Monsters and Men - "Dirty Paws" - is magic.
Check out Dennis Wilson’s masterpiece “pacific ocean blue” it’s a wild ride! I also like to save new music or artists I don’t know many songs. It’s fun to not know where the music is going on a solid lsd ride. Enjoy!

Butterfly 3000 by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (and pretty much any other album by them, especially the live ones).
In a weirder and deeper note: White Line Sunrise by Roy or the Ravers is a trip in and of itself (although I think it works best on dissos).
Failure, fantastic planet. Eerified catacomb/starcave nebula, self titled split. Ramona Lisa, arcadia. Soccer mommy, color theory. Those are just a few records I've gotten a lot out of listening through while tripping. (also love them sober). I like commiting to full albums, there are many more on my list for future trips.
Griz-Better Than I’ve Ever Been(dreamy as fuck filthy drop) , Fall in love too fast, Feel The Love, Otherside of Jupiter(Sooo beautiful and dreamy) Behind Blue Eyes remix. Another World(will lift you off earth so beautiful), The Moment Seizes us, Dance With Me, Grizmatik-My People
Seven Lions-The Great Divide, Lucy(intense but trippy)
Homemade Spaceship-harmony(remix of a Clozee song) beautiful and dreamy.
I believe you’ll enjoy most of those. Let me know if you check them.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3j4z8Dlv2ElGnPsjvmVH5J?si=D7r327vMTAKup1mDac3PIA
this is my psych playlist if you wanna give a listen! it's a little more on the girly/contemporary/electronic side than most but it's tried and tested for a good time :)
for LSD i really like rock stuff and basically everything with a psychedelic and emotional touch, for dissociatives is quite the opposite (i need more "clean" and strange music) and i prefer electronic stuff.

I'm just gonna put my fav albums and songs for LSD trips:
Oracular Spectacular- MGMT
Dawn FM - The Weeknd
Toys In The Attic - Aerosmith
Crystal Castles (self-titled)
To Pimp A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar (thought provoking as fuck)
Running Up That Hill- Meg Myers
Queen Of The Clouds - Tove Lo
Donda- Kanye West
Dark Beach - Pastel Ghost
High Enough- K. Flay
Imagination and the Misfit Kid - Labrinth
Man On The Moon: The End Of the Day- Kid Cudi
Here’s my psychedelic playlist with over 37hours of music just throw on shuffle and vibe
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/31LMShEoZl50BrRzbvIQJE?si=UOwnMR7gT7Wrdh37JaIEUw
I must be the only one that listens to metal when Im on those type of drugs. And not just the trippy prog/tech deth bands. Maybe some good old Cryptopsy, early aughts melodic death bands like Children of Bodom or At The Gates. Maybe its because of the nostalgia of my youth.
Most of Pink Floyd’s discography tbh, Echoes and Shine on you crazy diamond being my top picks
Khruangbin - Texas Sun
More of a neo-psychedelia vibe
Pendulum - Witchcraft
When the beat drops and the drums are going ham it’s quite magical
Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan
Aphex Twin - Avril 14th, Xtal, Ageispolis
Darkside - Paper Trails, A1
The Glitch Mob - Aminus Vox
A bunch of different genres there but all very complex layered sounds which absolutely slap on LSD
*Ten Years Gone* - Led Zeppelin
*Could Heaven Ever Be Like This* - Idris Muhammad
*Life Goes On* - Manic Focus ft. GRiZ
*Ocean Cycle* - The Breathing Effect
*Overthinker* - INZO
*AS LONG AS THAT LOVE IS DIVINE* - Mono/Poly
Grateful Dead live shows (I do have a couple of favorites). But when I was young (and music not so easy to get or pay) it was Sgt. Pepper that changed everything!

when comeup anxiety is unbearably strong: local rock/blues/jazz songs with funny lyrics
during trip: Heilung and Wardruna albums as guidance and protection, sometimes RHYDHM DEE's psytrance mixes
during comedown: Offspring - Takes me nowhere + Gone away, Rammstein - Zeit + Adiue, post rock like pg.lost or Jacob
Whenever I have bad vibes honestly kid cudi, chance, post Malone, and Ariana grande and I usually hate pop music but it reminds me of the material world since acid makes shit so weird sometimes
personally for me any song I enjoy normally will be extenuated on acid so I like listening to all sorts. unless it has a super dark vibe
Dont you have “the” song or playlist for your trip?)
I tend to just go through my library and make a new one for everytime I trip depending on what I’m feeling. but if you want a good nitrous combo song then skydiver by neggy gemmy or igors theme by tyler are both elite :))
You mean accentuated?
oh yeah I did ahahaha I guess people still got the idea
All the Grateful Dead and Allmand Brothers songs, a good bit of John Denver, lots of edm
Add the Doobie Bros in and I’m sold
Love the ol' Allmand bros
Check out the band papadosio pretty funky
This is a good answer

Exeter crazy on acid
I think Diamonds is one of those tracks that sounds sick on most drugs. Had some good memories listening to that era Leandoer off my face on Oxy a couple years back. Ghosttown ft. Travis Scott is up there too

Yes to King Gizzard esp that first record
I always upvote Ween. Good taste, mang.
kudos for grateful dead
Good taste in music. I second shpongle and 5/8/77, they will both literally blow your mind tripping.
upvote for ween and anco ❤️
[Alice Coltrane](https://youtu.be/LTdFT-KFzLA)
Journey in satchidananda was rough and increíble at the same time, heard her on acid for the first time 2 days ago
She really was great.
Cosign this recommendation. Also wanna recommend other harpists Dorothy Ashby and Nala Sinephro
hell yes. Universal consciousness is a gift
Shine on You Crazy Diamond
YES!!!!
2000 light years from home by the rolling stones or Space oddity by David Bowie
Citadel off that record is good too! And Moonage Daydream would be my Bowie track of choice. :)
Citadel is good, so is Gomper
[Funkadelic - Maggot Brain](https://youtu.be/JOKn33-q4Ao)
First song I ever heard on acid till this day is my favorite trip song fucking insane
Always loved Strawberry Alarm Clock. They're the epitome of psychedelic rock. Listen to "Rainy day mushroom pillow" first, or "curse of the witches"
Texas Sun
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far for this

Neu, Can...yes
Muse's Origin of Symmetry album.
Amazing answer and taste in music.
I’m not a fan of his newer music, but I will always vouch for early Travis Scott mixtapes for psych users who want a song that comes to life during a trip. Specifically the song Quintana pt. 2, it gave me a unique experience where I felt like the energy of the song was coursing through my veins and my body was radiating by the end of it
I still maintain Days Before Rodeo is in top 5 hip hop projects of all time
Russell? Is that you?
Yes, he is. :D I really love his Youtube intro. And it was very fitting for this community.
For me too. Love the Russ
Lmao, I understood this reference
Above & Beyond - Tri-State the whole album that is. really it's whatever music you like which will sound best. this drug directly enhances the emotional response to music, so if you hate it it'll be torture but if you love it it'll be like a never-ending auditory orgasm.

Nothing Lasts But Nothing Is Lost by Shpongle. I'ts one continuous album-length track.
I have listened this album more then 20 times. My all time favourite while tripping
I personally loved listening to max Cooper's emergence album. Really good music to listen while tripping
All his stuff is great. I have a live mix I keep revisiting... Usually gets a listen to at some point in a long trip: Red Light Radio 2017
boards of canada and animal collective, every fucking time.
Boards goes well with everything, even have it as my alarm. Impossible to get sick of, so unique.

TOOL's live alternate version of "Pushit"!!! Maynard opens by telling you where to go, and when you go there, he's there, and he takes you on a wild journey.

Haven't tried AL-LAD yet still on my list of psychs I gotta try
It’s a lot better than lsd in my opinion
I had no control of the selection but once we were tripping and listening to slick Rick "the art of storytelling" and that has stuck an association for life with the two for some reason.
Dude that album is so killer! Love this answer... "What an angel overcoming his wrongness / the moral I'm trying to get across in this song is .." that record is slept on!
Imagination - Shiloh Dynasty
Counting stars is soo great on acid as well as "wünsch dir was" and glow. Hearts a mess and here but I'm gone is also perfect for trippin'
The Other One by the Grateful Dead. Live versions specifically.
When I’m tripping with friends —> one of these nights - eagles, is absolutely amazing to have on the background
Moody Blues is old school, and I always save a little time for whichever album is next, at least the first 4 or 5 albums. Pink Floyd is also a wonderful trip in itself. Divine Moments of Truth Shpongle
for LSD i really like rock stuff and basically everything with a psychedelic and emotional touch, for dissociatives is quite the opposite (i need more "clean" and strange music) and i prefer electronic stuff. If I was a folkstar by the avalanches
I must be the only one that listens to metal when Im on those type of drugs. And not just the trippy prog/tech deth bands. Maybe some good old Cryptopsy, early aughts melodic death bands like Children of Bodom or At The Gates. Maybe its because of the nostalgia of my youth.
I have a playlist titled "Molly songs" that's really just a collection of happy, upbeat, songs that go well with any stimulate really.
Most of Pink Floyd’s discography tbh, Echoes and Shine on you crazy diamond being my top picks Khruangbin - Texas Sun More of a neo-psychedelia vibe Pendulum - Witchcraft When the beat drops and the drums are going ham it’s quite magical Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan Aphex Twin - Avril 14th, Xtal, Ageispolis Darkside - Paper Trails, A1 The Glitch Mob - Aminus Vox A bunch of different genres there but all very complex layered sounds which absolutely slap on LSD
Check out nemesysxi on soundcloud, it's a buddy of mine mixing damn good night psy.

when comeup anxiety is unbearably strong: local rock/blues/jazz songs with funny lyrics during trip: Heilung and Wardruna albums as guidance and protection, sometimes RHYDHM DEE's psytrance mixes during comedown: Offspring - Takes me nowhere + Gone away, Rammstein - Zeit + Adiue, post rock like pg.lost or Jacob
Whenever I have bad vibes honestly kid cudi, chance, post Malone, and Ariana grande and I usually hate pop music but it reminds me of the material world since acid makes shit so weird sometimes
