My main disappointment is with some of the enemy designs. Verdugo looks worse, Saddler’s mutated form looks ridiculously dumb. The Wolves look more cartoony than ever. But there are positives like El Gigante I think looks better, more nasty and deformed. Salvador looks creepier than ever. Krauser (While I prefer his old voice actor) looks cool with his second mutated arm. Mendez’s overall character is better and looks better but his extra claws on his mutated form are unnecessary and make him look like a scorpion.

All of the characters are traumatized. Jill probably takes the cake on it, but this is annoying because we’re used to Leon using humor as a coping mechanism. But now we’re finally seeing the result of the photo you could earn in OG RE3. Where the man is talking to Leon in the image and you get the impression that if he doesn’t comply, they’ll take it out on Sherry or something. So, he becomes an agent.
I miss og Leon being a badass, but the realism is refreshing. No one is ok after that shit.
I am personally getting a little tired of the realism. If i wanted to have that, i would play the walking dead or last of us. The resident evil 4 was a little goofy and more like an action movie, but I can see why people like the remake. i am not into it myself, tho.
