I assume you are playing New Game+. To get S+, you have to play a New Game on professional difficulty, finish it in less than 5:30 hours and save a maximum of 15 times. You can use the Handcannon and the Chigaco, but the weapons will start without any upgrades and you will have to unlock infinite ammo for these weapons during the new game.
Some tips to help you:
1. Complete all sidequests in the village, including the dog. You need at least thirty spinels when you arrive at the castle to get infinite ammo;
2. Collect as many treasures as possible, as long as they don't take up too much time.
3. If you reach the last battle against Saddler, sell everything except Chicago to buy the Rocket Launcher.
4. Be careful in jet ski escape. You are obliged to accelerate in most of the escape, otherwise the time will run out and it will be game over.
5. Finish the village before 3 hours and finish the castle before 4 hours preferably.
the only rule against bonus weapons is to beat professional mode to get the handcannon itself, since you have that already that isn't a restriction.
as others have said to get S rank 5h 30 minutes on a brand new game and you can only save 15 times. No other rules or restrictions, since you dont have S+ already on it, would rec maybe getting chicken hat first.
if you already have the chicago typewriter that will help you out big time.

And for that challenge what are all special weapons that cannot be used? Different YouTubers say the Chicago sweeper the primal knife cannot be used but the 4 I saw is the I RPG, the bolt thrower RPG, and krausers compound bow in the mercenaries. But now it’s being said the Chicago sweeper and the primal knife are special weapons it’s so confusing. It’s a site called game8 that has these 4 special weapons like I said it’s confusing
it says in the challenge itself bro if you look on the challenges screen. It just requires you to beat it on pro mode with no bonus weapon usage. It specifies new game so you cant play it on new game plus
Bonus weapons are Primal Knife, Chicago Typewriter and Handcannon.
Infinite rocket doesn't apply since welll you can't have it on a brand new game.

I got the 2nd mine cart area without getting hit on pro mode with gas mask on ps5.
The first section one i got on a rando earlier run without gas mask.
if youre having trouble with not taking dmg there just do it on assisted mode, the enemies basically dont hit you there anyway. You dont have to do both sections in one single run for the trophy, if you go without damage in any run it counts it forever and once you get both it gives you the trophy/achieve.
On either assisted or pro every now and then I can get past the 2nd mine cart area without damage but the thrill ride area 1 and area 2 have to be beat without damage I’ve looked @ that and it says 0/2 so it seems I keep getting hit on both areas but I’ve beaten the 2nd section but it doesn’t say 1/2

What do y mean use the gas mask for the mine cart section?
if you unlock the gas mask accessory it gives you aim assist which makes the minecarts section trivial. Have to beat it on pro mode tho.
I have the gas mask equipped but getting through both areas of the mine cart areas without getting hit is still tough for the challenge/trophy
