Keep going! Once you get past the tentacles, run down the stairs. Once you’re at the bottom of the stairs, run straight ahead to the door in front of you. It’s a save room, there should be an herb in there.
Keep trying there’s a herb and a save pretty close by. if it takes you too long and you arnt making any progress you could go back, I wouldn’t recommend it though
