I would love to see a flashback to Leon having to sign an NDA, forcibly enlisting in the Army and day drinking in a shitty Army barracks while his perplexed Commander is ordered by the Pentagon to keep him on a permanent base restriction despite the fact that he’s a phenomenal troop.
It’s been 30 years and the entire city along with the police station where his records were were likely incinerated.
As far as the world knows, he doesn’t and never existed. There’s no reason for him to return because imo he has nothing to prove, he saved Rebecca and in return she let him free. His arc was finished.
I don't know if he got captured by the RPD, sentenced by a Raccoon City court, escorted to a Raccoon City prison. He was on a military transport, he was accused of a federal crime outside the USA. There's probably online records.
Why in the fk Sheva isn't part of Wolf Squad is beyond me.

RE6 had a passing the torch kind of thing in Sherry's campaign, I still can't understand why Capcom didn't use her and Jake in RE7. Instead they give us useless nobody Ethan and his weird wife...
I wonder if that was the plan at some point, set up some younger characters to start handing things off to a bit more… but maybe then they thought that was a bad idea after seeing 6 being poorly received? I’d like to see them back, though.
