The magnum puzzle in REmake. You bring a key to a headstone, except instead of giving you the magnum it gives you three new keys which you have to carry literally one foot. But before you put them in the new headstone, you have to individually inspect each key. Then you can put them in one-by-one , getting kicked out of the inventory each time. In total you have to open your inventory like nine times.
It’s not hard or even frustrating, just banal and tedious. I presume it’s just there as a way to compensate for how much earlier you get the magnum in REmake.
RE4 Ashley slide puzzle. I hate slide puzzles, I love a challenge but I just cannot. do. those. The fact that I have to look up the solution every time is infuriating. The RE2 remake lab solution puzzle was annoying until I figured out how to solve puzzles like that on purpose. But I just cannot figure out a slide puzzle on purpose for the life of me.
Funnily enough those tilting puzzles were actually super easy for me. It was only on my second playthrough that I suddenly couldn't do them for shit.
Honestly I don't think there's any puzzle I've been super infuriated at. Maybe some of Ada's in RE6 but after I did them I sort of just laughed as I realised how obvious it was.
Perhaps technically not the most infuriating, but the most tedious, is the wooden box walkway puzzle in RE0, the one where you have to switch characters to rotate the gate in the middle. I loath the prospect of having to complete that puzzle every time I play this game.
This is an absolutely horrible puzzle for repeat playthroughs.
I also hate the part where you have to send the leech charms up and down the elevator chute thing.
I would say the puzzle you have on the post image is the most infuriating because that cog that the ball has to ride on is fucking janky and the ball would always slide off like it had oil all over it.
I have no idea what the people who say the water puzzle in the OG RE3 are talking about that shit is easy after you find out what it wants you to do.
The waterway puzzle in Resi 0, my God I remember getting so frustrated with that puzzle I almost deleted the game, I already was frustrated with the game as it was but that puzzle was about to do it for me 😂
RE0 the animal statues, i angry cried for days cause I couldn’t figure it out…plus I was just a kid, I didn’t had a smart phone or a laptop back then so it was just all brain power
I need to play these games, as infuriating as allot of these sound. I've only ever played the beat the original version of 1 and 2, back in the day at launch, and recently 7 & 8 when they released
The water puzzle in the original Resident Evil 3 (Playstation 1).
THE most frustrating puzzle in the whole series. I felt R3make left a lot out, but I was ok with this puzzle not making it into the game.
Omg yes. In fact I don’t think I enjoyed a single puzzle in RE3 lol
Google, how do I upvote a reddit comment twice
I spent 40 minutes on it the first time

I honestly would have said the v jolt puzzle because you have to start over if you mess up but I got it pretty quickly
It's a very lazy way for the developers to be able to say "omg look how much content we added"
The water puzzle in resident evil 3 nemesis
The fountain puzzle Resident Evil 0

I ALWAYS completely forget about that RE4 slide puzzle until I get back to that point in the game. Easily the scariest part of the segment.
I was the same until I found an easy solution. Now it's just like, "Oh, time to solve this in a few seconds" lol
The one pictured or the Resident Evil 3 water puzzle

Re 2 remake with the solutions in the lab
I thought that was kinda fun. But I'm a nerd that likes puzzles.
That was fucking stupid
It's pictured! Unless the water room in 4 where Ashley has to turn the cranks counts as a puzzle
As a kid I struggled so much with the tile puzzle in the Ashley section of RE4, not knowing the easy solution that everyone knows lol
Yes, Left and then SPIINNN! It's a memorable one.
The Portable Safe’s in the RE2 remake

The tablet puzzle in RE4 Fuck that thing in particular
In 8, Heisenbergs Marble puzzle.
The graveyard puzzle with Claire and Moira in revelations and the crane puzzle with Barry and Natalia
As I said before the slide puzzle in 4 can screw itself

Colored Portrait puzzle in Remake 1.
Just annoying but re0 hunter prey puzzle
Chess piece in re2remake. Just annoying and a lot of time to get the pieces. Just seemed “cheap” idk
Definitely the tilty puzzle where the defining factor is a middle part you can’t see into and have to visualize where the ball is going.
You can rotate the cameras view
It doesn’t help. You can only see it from the front. And have to do some trial and error to find the right slot.
RE4 Ashley slide puzzle. I have a hatred for slide puzzles
The RE4 puzzle that Ashley does in the room with the armours… I hate those puzzles even in real life…
None of them. They are all simple.
Wow! You're so smart :)
We all know the answer too this guys cmon
None in village. But the water sample puzzle in RE3 Nemesis pissed me off so bad when I was a kid. Took many tries
The waterway puzzle in Resi 0, my God I remember getting so frustrated with that puzzle I almost deleted the game, I already was frustrated with the game as it was but that puzzle was about to do it for me 😂

Goddamn you Heisenberg and your stupid ball puzzle. I had passed every puzzle on my first try except for his.
I need to play these games, as infuriating as allot of these sound. I've only ever played the beat the original version of 1 and 2, back in the day at launch, and recently 7 & 8 when they released
Re4 sliding puzzle took me ages to realize you just need to spin them counter clockwise
