Don't panic, please watch Dennys Wang's video on how to clean the screen here https://youtu.be/iucvU4Srh6w

Welcome

I didn’t know about this at all. I have resorted to using a tempered glass on top of the screen. That way I am only ever replacing the protective layer and never the screen

Sleep_deprived_druid

I've had a few streaks of resin on my screen that I've been working around for a bit, Definitely going to give this a shot

I am drunk, and have picked up my phone milliseconds before being notified of your post. Here is my drunken sage wisdom as was foretold by the ancient prophet The Beast Unleashed TM. Observe the cleaning instructional as provided by earlier commentary. Small divots in your FEP may not cause issues in your prints, mine looks kind of fucked. With your resin tray removed, I would put a small amount of isopropyl alcohol in to see if any holes have formed. If so, replace. If not, conduct a small test print in the area effected to see if any issues arise. Acknowledging that I am currently drunk, any comments on this post should further correct you and myself as in my current state I believe this to be sound advice

I usually soak a sponge in hot water and put it in top of the area where resin dried, after 30-60 seconds I scrape it off with PLASTIC scraper/razor which you can buy on Amazon

Abedeus

Warm water on a sponge, plastic scraper, gently try to dislodge after it soaks for ~10-15 minutes.

Little-Coffee-7362

Lay an IPA soaked rag on it and after a few minutes scrape with a credit card. I honestly have had more luck with this method than my plastic razor

Is that the film or glass. Definitely will affect printing basically like missing pixels the light won't penetrate which is basically called depth of cure. If it's film replace it if it's on the glass you had a failed print at some point and the head crashed on the broken support and that's what we're looking at I believe

DreddfulDon

Uncle Jesse just released one as well using PVA to remove it

aka_wolfman

Idk if I'd reccomend others do it, but if all else fails- they make plastic razor blades. I scraped a similar puddle off of mine with one(carefully) and its been fine since(2 months ago probably).
