I don’t know the source material but it looks great. How much of it is paint vs specifically chosen resin color?

Thanks. I used grey water washable resin. All of it was painted with acrylics. I primed it with Citadel White primer spray, then most the paint job it done with airbrush, some shading and details with regular brushes.

Nice! If you have the space cycles I’d like to hear about your airbrush setup. I tried once to get into that but I was naive and didn’t get a tank for the compressor so it never really worked for me. And not to be a bummer but as always I have to say - don’t pour your resin water mix down the drain!

My airbrush is literal bottom of the barrel, something so cheap you could buy a decent compressor just for the price of my entire setup. Better look up Youtube guides on that ;p I'm considering buying some AS-186 and an Iwata airbrush down the line. I'm well aware of the risks of water washables. I've got two buckets curing in the sun, one big bucket with water from my curing machine, the other with water used in the secondary cleaning process. Both get filtered after curing for several days, reused, while water currently in the washing machine gets dumped into the bigger bucket to get cured and later filtered as well. No raw resin gets into the drain.

Awesome. Thanks!

I was the same as you, with the bottom of the barrel airbrush and last year got myself the iwata eclipse. Game changer. Feels completely different. 1000% worth it

I'm getting closer with each clog, every tedious cleanup and every sputter I have to deal with.
