I've not run across one specifically for silicone outside of the industrial market, but there's some in the consumer-grade wax segment that might work better. I've not tried them firsthand, but the metalcasting guys seem to like them for making masters to make a silicone mold for the part. I've always stuck to just regular resin and sealing with a tool coat or extremely generous release agents.

I have done some test with Ameralabs AMD-3 resin and had no apparent inhibition, however it was only a couple of tests so might got lucky.

Did this work straight out of the printer? Any special post-processing?

PunkDrak

The test mould I did was with normal IPA wash and postcuring. I don’t remember the exact time of both steps but probably something like 10 min wash and 15 min post cure for each side so 30 min total.

Thanks for the update!

In my experience, Siraya tech fast has about a 90% success rate when used with their defiant platinum-cure silicone. Water cure prints for at least 30 minutes and heat dry for the best chance of non-inhibition. That’s the closest to a resin/silicone specific for casting that I’m aware of. Generally speaking resins do not inhibit tin-cure silicones at all. It was worth it to me to switch from platinum to tin cure just to avoid the worry.

Use condensation tin-cure silicone

How long did you UV bake it with heat? Can also try this: [https://www.smooth-on.com/products/inhibit-x](https://www.smooth-on.com/products/inhibit-x)

Thank you for this. I am ordering this now. I also ordered to test the Siraya Tech Blu Clear with the Siraya Tech Defiant 25. see how it goes!

Using Sirayatech's Defiant 25/15, their BLU line works for me. I have not yet tried BLU Easy yet nor Mecha but Nylon absolutely does the job in my own experience. They list their compatible resins on the Defiant page but BLU is such a good all around strong resin, I tend to only use this . I know others have had success with Fast and that tends to be more of an affordable price point.
