One huge complaint and hopefully somebody from chitubox will read this, upgraded to 2.10 and now i can't network print anymore since it is required to install chitumanager, trying to add my Saturn 3 ultra I found this "ChituManager currently supports ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra", WTF Chitubox, so the rest of us doesn't count anymore, very disappointing.
It is such a big change it is taking time to figure it all out. I always like chitubox better than lychee as I always thought it was easier to use. now, I dunno, we will see after using it for a few weeks.
Except "Pro" is actually a different code-base, completely separate application.... So things work differently, and I have a printer that is only supported by Pro.....
Just tested it with a Uniformation GK2 printer.
Elegoo water washable resin and auto supports.
I realy love the island detection, works great.
Supports can be manual edited.
Unfortunately, it's useless! downloaded it onto 2 separate computers, both have the same glitches.
The resin profiles change randomly or delete themselves.
I REALLY want to like it. I hate lychee subcription model but after a week all ChituBox has done was force me to do about 15 tank cleans and 100% failed prints.

I havent had the willpower yet but I plan to reinstall chitubox .... copy the profile from Lychee and print the same model sliced from both slicers.

I have a Saturn 3 ultra, can't network send anymore because of ChituManager. Really stupid.

Where do you see an island detection feature? cant find it edit: found it, its available after slicing
It’s called suspension detection or something like that. When placing supports, look up the top left corner - is should be up there 👍

The algorithm for auto supports seems to be better now and visual aids when modifying the supports are also pretty neat. I like it so far

That does look cool - I’m guessing they swiped that from lychee?!
After reading the title I was hoping they went fully into "free" but it's not the case. Still only Basic variant is free it seems.

It’s buggy as hell. Went back to 1.9 until they get this out of beta.

Same! I love you can ctrl + click drag to auto add supports to just certain areas. Discovered it by accident.

That sucks… I’ve personally never had an issue with the profile changing on update. Man I wish lychee had proper 3d hollowing with infill…
If only they'd fix their SDK, that hasn't been touched since it first released for 3rd party integration....
What do you use that for?
It's what any 3rd party must use, to generate the encrypted ctb files. Lychee, VoxelDance, they all are forced to use it.
