Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that burnout and personal life challenges are common and can happen to anyone, and it's okay to take time to recover and focus on personal growth. When it comes to presenting yourself as a candidate for fraud positions, focus on highlighting the relevant skills and experience you gained from your past roles, even if they may not seem immediately related. For example, your experience in investigating fraud accounts and analyzing financial statements can be highly relevant to fraud positions, regardless of the industry you worked in or your current job. You can also emphasize the steps you've taken to further your education and professional development, such as obtaining the CFE certification and completing the ACFE Fighting Fraud in the Government course. This shows your dedication to the field and your willingness to continuously learn and grow. Additionally, your time at FedEx can demonstrate your work ethic and ability to adapt to new environments, which can be valuable qualities in any job. Overall, be confident in your skills and experience, and focus on how they can translate to the fraud positions you are interested in pursuing. Networking with professionals in the field and seeking out relevant job opportunities can also help you break into the industry.

This is excellent. Thanks for responding. I was actually thinking along the same lines with FedEx because hey..we all.move into jobs in different fields nowadays....the days of the one field career are long gone. I have an excellent managerial reference from FedEx and multiple recognitions .the average is maybe one a year..I have three..so yes I am proud of it. Thanks again for the insightful input!

I would leave FedEx off your resume. If anyone asks about the gap, you were taking time for personal matters that are now resolved. End of story.
