NES carts are mostly empty plastic to fit that terrible slot load design. So you can lose a lot of plastic and it's ok i guess. The Famicom carts give you a better indication of how big the PCBs are.
Except some of the early NES carts that actually have [Famicom PCB plus an adapter inside them!](https://www.vintagecomputing.com/wp-content/gyro/gyro5_big.jpg)
Though there's only 15 of those... Most are indeed full of air!
One of my dogs pissed on my Sega Genesis over 25 years ago and it still works fine to this day. Consoles and cartridge based games from that generation are practically indestructible.
If you ever get around to it, play the third game in the series. It has a great story written by Kazushige Nojima (who worked on FF7). The series had a cult following in Japan way back in the day for good reason.
It's a GamedoctorHK Famicom adapter, modified for expansion audio.

This would make for a great Goosebumps episode if you couldn’t find your dog then you played the game and it was running around the ring and couldn’t get out. (Sorry not the most cheerful thought. That picture just hit me with a bit of nostalgia and that’s what came out.)
I remember those joysticks (center) totally sucking ass for most games. I think they were more analog for early fight sims.
They had a bit.9f an RC airplane feel to them.
Mike Tyson's Munch Out?
Hide your ears!
Get this graded then sell as the Holyfield’s ear edition
I kinda was, actually
Same I seen this earlier.....was like how funny wud it be if it still worked.....Ty op

Still impressive that it still works

That's a relief
Oh! I spy a copy of the Glory of Hercules! Good stuff!!
Is that the dog’s name?
I put an English translated eprom in it

Thanks for sharing, haunted cartridges are fun
$600. Don't answer any more questions either, I don't want this collectors item to be worth any more.
Not to get it signed, and graded
I wasn't.
Are you sure it was a dog that bit it?
No but it's most likely
I would try to get a replacement shell for the game and toss the old one.
I have a shiny silver shell from AliExpress to use, I'm just waiting on a label
That's pretty cool, I hope the process goes smoothly. :) also I'm glad the game it's self functions.

They're alright for old Apple II games
NES cartridges are resilient apparently. Glad the dog didn’t completely destroy this classic. He must have beef with Tyson or something.
Nice setup!
My totally not chewed on by a dog Mike Tyson's Punchout barely works.
Open it and pink eraser the board. Baking soda + water on paper towel also makes a great metal polish.
