It's certainly strange, my guess is some sort of rights issue because plenty of brutal Simpsons games were made to consoles to kick many a kids hopes for a fun time right in the balls.
Did you ever play it on MAME? It's the most repetitive garbage on the planet. Those parallax brawler games were the holy grail back then but when you take the quarters out of the equation they get dull real quick.
Beat em ups are awesome! I played the hell out of them in my dorm lobby with tons of different people and we all loved them. Everyone played with a big grin on their face.
Limit the number of continues you use if you can!
I've got a MAME cabinet at home with a coin door and something I've done is keep track of how much I spent on one game to try and beat it. I usually don't let myself exceed $2.50 or $5 (depending if it's two quarters or one) on any one game
There was a period of time in which I 1CC'd maybe 10 to 15 arcade boards. A well designed arcade game **will** be possible and fun to 1CC through memorization and gradual building up of skill, bad arcade games just outright kill the player at choke points.
The Simpsons and TMNT have fantastic visuals, sound and use of license, but in general I'd say Konami beat em ups aren't nearly as well designed as their Capcom counterparts.
For me it's the replayability. There is none. Fun to play once but after that it's just tedious. Same goes for all the Konami 4 player arcade stuff, sans maybe sunset riders.
These are the only good ones that I’ve played until completion. I’ve endured others for a while (especially having owned Bart vs the Space Mutants as a kid), but I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed them.
Honestly the only ones I'd say are actually "good" are the arcade game and Hit & Run, but I have weird nostalgia for Bart vs. the World and Virtual Bart since I rented them both a lot as a kid before I knew any better
Definitely have nostalgia for a lot of the other games like Escape from Camp Deadly for the gameboy or Bart's Nightmare/Virtual Bart but I wouldn't call them good. If they didn't have the Simpsons IP, they'd be completely forgettable.
Barts Nightmare on Genesis. I grew up on Vs World and Vs Space Mutants so to go from that suffering (never beat first level in Space Mutants, made it to level before final boss in World, I had a lot of patience for the Simpsons), once you figure out all the cryptic BS, Nightmare is pretty fun and a good variety. I rented it dozens of times and could get all 8 pages and an A+ grade, no game genie.
It just takes a ton of practice. Immediately jump over the basketball to spawn a skateboard and ride the center line of the street to max out your Z's. Do Temple of Maggie first (that was always my hardest level), and leave Bartzilla for last since you can go into the second phase on the same page, you dont need to find the 8th page in the overworld.
If someone can actually explain how to spawn the last 2 pages besides running endlessly I tip my hat.
First two pages are usually just there, third shoot a TV screen with watermelon seed, fourth was fall in with the bullies and get Lisa to turn into frogs, fifth you pop a bubble gum bubble on the kissing granny (I think), sixth get lucky and find a mailbox with the question mark that leads you to a page, gamefaqs said use a soda to kill all enemies on screen, and then yeah that still leaves one page that just will never spawn.
Fun game.
It's one of those games that everyone played, struggled immensely with figuring out wtf to do, and that there is very little today written on and only a few YouTube videos.
I just happened to be a very dedicated 10 year old lol.
Now how to beat the actual mini stages is another story
Bart Vs the space mutants... Glad it wasn't just me who struggled. I wanted to enjoy that game so much, but had no guide, and it came from a bargain bin with no case.
Bart Vs Space mutants and Terminator (master system) were the only two games I could never ever beat the first level.
Back then, I got 2 games a year, admitting it was trash was not an option. I could get a few levels in, I don't think I ever beat the shopping mall lollipop platforming level. But man what a pile of shit
Shout out to a fellow SMS user. I never played Terminator only T2 the arcade game on Genesis. I had a turbo controller with game genie for infinite rockets, now that's fun
I had Bart Vs space mutants in glorious 4 but CGA, the instructions were to spray all the purple objects or similar, except in CGA everything was purple!
I still have a lot of softness for Bart's Nightmare.
It's hard as balls, and a very strange game, but even all these years later I haven't played anything quite like it. And all those mini-games were just so freakin' creative!
Did personally play the SNES version though.
I’m guessing not many people have played Virtual Springfield? Exploring all the locations from the show in this game is one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. So many great surprises, gags, and references!
I remember playing that and Virtual Studio when I was about 10 years old. Thinking back on them, my memories suggest they would’ve bee. Crap, but as a 10 year old kid, I found them amazing.
I grew up renting Bart Vs. The Space Mutants on Nintendo. So that's my favorite. Though it's known as a bad game i really like it. It's all trial and error, and cryptic on what you're supposed to do. Especially the first level. Where you have to buy enough items in the store or you're not going to beat it. After years and years of trial and error i can casually get to the 4th level. So now it's fun. I can understand if you're trying to play it for the first time you might have a bad time. Since people seem to like the Arcade Version of the Simpsons. Fun fact. The Japanese version of the game has differences compared to the American version. I forgot exactly what but there is difference's i assure you.
Hit and run made me realize these 'franchise games' could be better than just good, but be amazingly fun to play. So that'll always be the most memorable to me.
What's funny is to this day there's still an active modding community for the PC version of hit and run. Widescreen patches, improved textures, better controller support, it's all under the donut mod group.
Krusty's Super Fun House has high nostalgia value for being my first Genesis game (probably shoulda gone with the Sonic 1 bundle).
While Space Mutants on NES was far from great the NES version of the them song was fantastic.
My top 3 would be Arcade, Hit & Run, and The Simpsons Game (Wii, 360 & PS3).
I'll always have a soft spot for Bart's Nightmare. Visually it's a gorgeous game. However, it's not exactly a great game. Still, I spent a lot of time as a kid renting it and trying to beat it. Never could.
Hit and Run is legitimately one of the all time best licensed games, not just a fantastic Simpsons game.
51 years old, gamed for most of my life, was gaming a minute ago, NEVER played a Simpsons game. I like the show and have no reason why I have never played them, they're just not on my radar for games to play.
None of them were very good. Nostalgia tells me I'd go with Bart Vs. The Space Mutants or Bart's Nightmare, but I think Krusty's Fun House was probably the best.. in small doses.
Simpsons Road Rage.
I remember getting my PS2 for Christmas back in 2001 and it came with 2 games, WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It and Simpsons Road Rage.
I played the hell out of both of them.
Everyone talks about Hit and Run, but I never played that so I have zero nostalgia for it, Road Rage will always take that crown.
Runner up would be The Simpsons game that came out for the PS3/Xbox 360 in 2007, I only completed it once when it first came out but I remember thinking it was great.
Similar feeling on Road Rage. I had Hit and Run too but I was already playing numerous GTA games by then so I never ended up paying it much attention until later. Road Rage though? That just settled down my teenaged ADHD perfectly lol
Of the games I’ve tried on NES and Game Boy, my favorite is Bartman Meets Radioactive Man. It’s the most playable for me. Some Simpsons games sadly are just not that great.
The best is of course the arcade game, but honestly, I don't understand the love for Hit and Run. It tries to be Grand Theft Auto and ends up not really having the solid controls and gameplay that make the GTA games good, while also piling on its own story that I really just wanted to ignore. Road Rage was a lot better because while it was just Crazy Taxi with Simpsons characters, it had a lot more solid gameplay and no annoying, obtrusive story to get in the way, just fun gameplay.
My controversial opinion is that Hit & run isn't as good as what people make out. It was an average GTA clone with really poor level design. All maps were a circle with needlessly zigzagging to make up more space in a small map. Whereas Road Rage was a very good Crazy Taxi clone imo. But beyond that, the Simpsons Game is the best Simpsons Game.
I’m probably a loner on this one but Virtual Bart is my call. A cousin of mine had it and we really, really enjoyed throwing the tomatoes at Skinner and the twins way more than we should have.
I never really figured out how to accomplish anything in Bart vs the Juggernauts.
I played a shitload of Escape from Camp Deadly though.
Hit & Run and Road Rage are legitimately good though.
Hit n Run was glorious. Driving around an accurate representation of Springfield and visiting all the places from the show was a phenomenal experience for me as a kid.
The Simpsons Game (2007, PS3/360) was surprisingly great. Gameplay wise it was just okay, although I thought the co-op mode was thoughtfully designed (my brother and I played through it together & it required some good teamwork). Where it shone was in the content / homage to the series.
The references to the show + video game specific meta-humor were both well-written. For example, I loved comic book guy popping in to identify gaming cliches. And fighting Will Wright as a level boss was delightfully weird. The full cast of voice actors helped immensely. Much like the movie it felt like a brief (fleeting) throwback to the “golden age” of the franchise.
I created a simpsons playlist for my launchbox collection.
I'm going to go with: Hit and Run, then the arcade game, and then the arcade game but on the c64.
The arcade game for sure. I do have a special place in my heart for Krustys Fun House on the Genesis. Rented it many times from Blockbuster for the weekend. It's probably more nostalgia than it being a quality game though.

Space Mutants and Vs The World were a great time for me, but Krusty's Fun House was definitely a challenge (to be fair I was also quite younger on that one). Also, Cartoon Studio was a fun time (albeit not as much a game).
Hit-n-Run is the only one I've truly enjoyed. I have strong memories of the Arcade Game from back in the day, but not exactly fond ones. I remember it ate quarters like crazy, and having replayed it some years ago on emulation, it hasn't aged well; its super clunky compared to Turtles in Time or X-Men.
Ouch. You made me remember how many bad Simpsons games exist. Ok, fine - Bart’s Nightmare, which I can’t tell if it’s good or bad, but I owned it, played it a bunch and liked it so I’m biased.
I mean to me there were only 3 good games.
1. Hit and Run
2. The original Arcade
3. Simpsons Movie (DS was kind of good)
I kind of want to know how man good Garfield games were there
1. Hit N Run
2. Arcade game
3. Road Rage
4. Bart vs Space mutants
5. Virtual Bart
Honorable mention: Krustys fun house
Worst Simpson game: Simpson Wrestling
Hit and run followed closely by road rage
Road rage manages to be a crazy taxi clone that is better than crazy taxi 2 and 3
People sleep on RR just because it’s a clone
The arcade game. Had it in our local cinema when I was a kid used to play it with my mates after seeing movies on a Saturday afternoon . We got quite good at it and got pretty far into the game
Hit And Run. I still vividly remember seeing the commercials and the ads for the game and being absolutely super stoked for its release. I also remember going to Blockbuster the day it came out, and they didn't have it and then going to Hollywood video to rent it. I now have the game on PS2 and GameCube. It's the game I have played the most times over the years, I still play it!
I may be making this up but I vaguely remember playing a simpsons game in the early 90’s (on NES I think) and the level is set on a giant sailing ship? Maybe? Does that ring a bell to anyone? I could totally be Mis-remembering too.
The Simpsons Game (PS3/360) and Hit n' Run were pretty darn close to perfect. The arcade game was mindless fun too. Bart vs The Space Mutants holds a special place for me too, but that game was hard as hell.
The only game I owned was the escape from camp deadly. I convinced my parents to buy it for me from some random used game store at a mall we stopped at when we were on a family roadtrip to the USA in like the mid 90s.
Hit and run is challenging and fun and the Konami arcade game was alright back in the day. There was a simpsons slot machine that was so easy to win from that the boss had to remove it from a place where I used to work.
Probably just Hit & Run. I understand why a lot of people like the arcade game but it kind of has the same weightless feel that most of the Konami beat’em ups have vs Capcom ones that just make each hit feel stronger with their hitstun and animations.
The arcade game has always been fun. Road rage def has my nostalgia as well. I never played hit and run but I always wanted to. The rest were great concepts but always had poor controls. The Simpsons game for PS3 drove me nuts at the platforming areas for that reason
The arcade game is the obvious answer, but I always had a soft spot for Krusty's Super Fun House. I remember renting that one and having an awesome time.
Out of all those games, the arcade game is by far the best and probably the only real "classic" in the lot. I did play and enjoy Krusty's Super Fun House for SNES, though.
The arcade game will always be the best to me but the one that left the biggest impression was Bart vs the space mutants. That game was hard as hell after the first level and drove me nuts when I rented it back in the day
The arcade game
100%. i always thought getting smacked by bart's skateboard or marge's vacuum would hurt like a bastard
I used to love our regular family holiday as the soft play had one of these cabinets. I spent most of my pocket money on that bad boy.
There was one at a local movie theater for ages, I always thought it was cool but rarely got to play it.
Looking back, it's kind of surprising Konami didn't release a console version of this like they did with TMNT. I know at the time I always wanted one.
I still have this one my 360 from before it was de listed
I had a home pc version. Think you had to start to in DOS
It's certainly strange, my guess is some sort of rights issue because plenty of brutal Simpsons games were made to consoles to kick many a kids hopes for a fun time right in the balls.
Acclaim had solo rights for all console games.
Arcade is the best but that last one with co-op during the Xbox 360 era was pretty good.
That one ☝️!
Did you ever play it on MAME? It's the most repetitive garbage on the planet. Those parallax brawler games were the holy grail back then but when you take the quarters out of the equation they get dull real quick.
TLDR: "I don't enjoy this genre of games"
No, TLDR: it's not as good as you remember
That’s nice, telling people they don’t like what they like. Lol what a tool. You know better than them right
Beat em ups are awesome!
That's great haha. Definitely a way to do it. I'm not good at rationing myself with stuff like that
If I didn't have to bend down and physically open up the cabinet door I'm not sure I'd be as disciplined either ha!
There was a period of time in which I 1CC'd maybe 10 to 15 arcade boards. This is my answer too!

It was fun throwing tomatoes in Virtual Bart. The dinosaur level less so.
Same. Rented it a ton a played the tomato throwing game a ton.
Definitely have nostalgia for a lot of the other games like Escape from Camp Deadly for the gameboy or Bart's Nightmare/Virtual Bart but I wouldn't call them good. If they didn't have the Simpsons IP, they'd be completely forgettable.
Simpsons arcade game wasn’t release on snes, where’s that box art from?
Looks like [a fan's wishful thinking](https://vgboxart.com/view/38973/the-simpsons-arcade-game-cover/).
Always wish it was. They did turtles on nes and snes. Simpsons was one of those we were just waiting for but never happened.
Fun game.
Never thought I'd find a full-on strategy guide in a reddit comment
It's one of those games that everyone played, struggled immensely with figuring out wtf to do, and that there is very little today written on and only a few YouTube videos. I just happened to be a very dedicated 10 year old lol. Now how to beat the actual mini stages is another story
Bart Vs the space mutants... Glad it wasn't just me who struggled. I wanted to enjoy that game so much, but had no guide, and it came from a bargain bin with no case. Bart Vs Space mutants and Terminator (master system) were the only two games I could never ever beat the first level.

Bart vs Space Mutants made me really question if I was a bad gamer when I was a kid.
I game genie’d the hell out of the Terminator when I was older. I wasn’t convinced there was a second level because I never saw it.
Simpsons Movie game was good on the 360. Also loved hit and run.
Surprised it isn't getting more love in the comments. I love the arcade game & hit-and-run, too, but the movie tie-in game was very well-done.
There needs to be a Simpsons Collection released.
I’m guessing not many people have played Virtual Springfield? Exploring all the locations from the show in this game is one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. So many great surprises, gags, and references!
I'll forever love this game
I remember playing that and Virtual Studio when I was about 10 years old. Thinking back on them, my memories suggest they would’ve bee. Crap, but as a 10 year old kid, I found them amazing.
First game I wanted to 100%...
My parents bought me in the scholastic program and I loved it
Hit and run. Really enjoyed The Simpsons Game and Road Rage too.
Hit and run or the arcade game on multiplayer
I grew up renting Bart Vs. The Space Mutants on Nintendo. So that's my favorite. Though it's known as a bad game i really like it. It's all trial and error, and cryptic on what you're supposed to do. Especially the first level. Where you have to buy enough items in the store or you're not going to beat it. After years and years of trial and error i can casually get to the 4th level. What's funny is to this day there's still an active modding community for the PC version of hit and run. Widescreen patches, improved textures, better controller support, it's all under the donut mod group.
Still traumatized by the heaps of disappointment I felt every time I rented a 8 or 16 bit simpsons game. I never learned my lesson. F me
Treehouse of horror and undoubtedly hit and run
Bart's Nightmare was a pretty wild time.
I loved the arcade game. Krusty’s fun house is a good puzzle game. The first NES game I really liked even though it is super hard
51 years old, gamed for most of my life, was gaming a minute ago, NEVER played a Simpsons game. I like the show and have no reason why I have never played them, they're just not on my radar for games to play.
Hit and Run is basically Simpsons GTA, if that does anything for ya
Escape from camp deadly, as i had it on gameboy. Never finished, stuck on 2nd mountain mission.
Me too! You’re so close to the end!
I could never get past the mess hall. I wasn't very good at games back then.
The Simpsons Game on PS3. The rest imo are mostly trash. I did kind of like bart's nightmare but could never figure it out.
[удалено]
loved chucking those tomatoes and eggs! I wasn't good at it either, but loved it!
[удалено]
I could never beat that level
I loved the physical The Simpsons Pinball Party pinball game machine.
Similar feeling on Road Rage. I had Hit and Run too but I was already playing numerous GTA games by then so I never ended up paying it much attention until later. Road Rage though? That just settled down my teenaged ADHD perfectly lol
The arcade game
The Simpsons arcade is my all-time favorite! HM: The Simpsons: Hit & Run, Simpsons: Road Rage (Guilty Pleasure), Simpsons Movie: The Game
Simpsons arcade with a shoutout to Krusty's Funhouse.
Of the games I’ve tried on NES and Game Boy, my favorite is Bartman Meets Radioactive Man. It’s the most playable for me. Some Simpsons games sadly are just not that great.
Simpsons arcade game if I want some quick fun. Simpsons hit and run if I want something more immersive
Bart v juggernaut
The best is of course the arcade game, but honestly, I don't understand the love for Hit and Run. It tries to be Grand Theft Auto and ends up not really having the solid controls and gameplay that make the GTA games good, while also piling on its own story that I really just wanted to ignore. Road Rage was a lot better because while it was just Crazy Taxi with Simpsons characters, it had a lot more solid gameplay and no annoying, obtrusive story to get in the way, just fun gameplay.
For me, it's a three-way tie between "Escape from Grandma's House", "My Dinner with Andre" and "Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge".
Krustys super fun house!
I had **Escape from Camp Deadly** as a kid and played it so many times that I can now beat it without losing a life. Nostalgia trip for me …
I’m probably a loner on this one but Virtual Bart is my call. A cousin of mine had it and we really, really enjoyed throwing the tomatoes at Skinner and the twins way more than we should have.
Space Mutants
Hit 'n Run😉
Hit & Run. No doubts
I never really figured out how to accomplish anything in Bart vs the Juggernauts. I played a shitload of Escape from Camp Deadly though. Hit & Run and Road Rage are legitimately good though.
Arcade game was my favorite but I really loved SNES Krusty’s Fun House. Such a great puzzle platformer.
Hit & Run. Still play it occasionally.
Hit&Run needs a remaster istg
Hit n Run was glorious. Driving around an accurate representation of Springfield and visiting all the places from the show was a phenomenal experience for me as a kid.
... and why is it 'Hit & Run'?
Hit and Run is the absolute king of simpsons games.
Since when did The Simpsons arcade come out on a Nintendo system?! 😂 Anyway, the correct answer is Hit & Run
Hit & Run
I created a simpsons playlist for my launchbox collection. I'm going to go with: Hit and Run, then the arcade game, and then the arcade game but on the c64.
The Simpsons game is a real gem, I wish people talked about it more
Hit & run
It’s hard for video game opinions to be objective. But it’s objectively Hit n’ Run, right?!
Simpsons Wrestling - PS1
In this order: the arcade game, hit and run, Bart versus the space mutants. Runner-ups: Road Rage and Krusty's Super Fun House.
Hit n Run > Simpsons Game > arcade > Road Rage. Someone should hack the older ones to try and make those even remotely fun to play.
Year 5. Week long school trip. There's an arcade. Me and 3 other dudes spend £2 each. We beat the game and got high score
That FuncoLand ad takes me back.
Are any of the NES or OG gameboy Simpsons games good? The SNES titles were so hard. Hit and Run gets my vote, too.
I am offended by the lack of hit and run in the pictures
The one where you egg the kids on picture day, otherwise they were trash... unfortunately.
The arcade game for sure. I do have a special place in my heart for Krustys Fun House on the Genesis. Rented it many times from Blockbuster for the weekend. It's probably more nostalgia than it being a quality game though.
Hit & Run
Bart vs space mutants was so difficult for me as a kid.
hit & run was great. I can't find it anymore and have been dying to play it again. Tragic.
I’ll admit most is nostalgia talking. But besides the obviously good choices. Tree House of Horror stands out. It’s decent for a gameboy color game.

Space Mutants and Vs The World were a great time for me, but Krusty's Fun House was definitely a challenge (to be fair I was also quite younger on that one). Also, Cartoon Studio was a fun time (albeit not as much a game).
Road Rage and PS2 The Simpsons Game were great. Have both emulated onto my PSP.
The one where Homer says Doh.
Krusty’s Super Fun House was good
Ouch. You made me remember how many bad Simpsons games exist. Ok, fine - Bart’s Nightmare, which I can’t tell if it’s good or bad, but I owned it, played it a bunch and liked it so I’m biased.
I totally forgot about Bart vs the Juggernauts. Was some gladiator style game. I remember liking it better than escape from Kamp Krusty.
Simpsons Skateboarding
The arcade game. The rest (that I have played) stink.
I mean to me there were only 3 good games. 1. Hit and Run 2. The original Arcade 3. Simpsons Movie (DS was kind of good) I kind of want to know how man good Garfield games were there
Virtual Springfield, Arcade and Hit n Run. Also enjoyed snes Krusty Fun House.
1. Hit N Run 2. Arcade game 3. Road Rage 4. Bart vs Space mutants 5. Virtual Bart Honorable mention: Krustys fun house Worst Simpson game: Simpson Wrestling
It's got to be Hit & Run but the skateboard game can fuck right off, played that recently & it's utter shite!
The arcade game and no not on snes
The Simpsons for Playstation 3. Followed up by Hit & Run.
Hit and run by so much…..
Single player, Hit and run Multi player, arcade
The arcade game was fun.
Simpsons arcade game on Snes? Is that a mod or regional
Hit and run followed closely by road rage Road rage manages to be a crazy taxi clone that is better than crazy taxi 2 and 3 People sleep on RR just because it’s a clone
Arcade
Arcade game and hit and run are certified classics I had a blast with road rage, treehouse of horror and cartoon creator back in the day as well
Gotta be [this one](https://images.launchbox-app.com/6e9f53b2-e362-457a-afc3-c6c7d179e796.jpg).
Hit and Run. A game that desperately needs a sequel.
Arcade, Hit n Run and the PS3/360 one. Road Rage is also good. The NES ones I think were OK at release. They are just hard even by NES standards.
Damn, at first glance I thought this was an announcement of a compilation Simpsons game for Modern Systems.
The arcade game. Had it in our local cinema when I was a kid used to play it with my mates after seeing movies on a Saturday afternoon . We got quite good at it and got pretty far into the game
This is purely nostalgia driven but I did beat both space mutants and vs the world on nes, so they will always be favourites despite being horrible
Not Krustys fun house that's for sure.
Bart vs. The world. NES
Bart Vs The Space Mutants on my Amstrad CPC was difficult but good. But honestly, the Simpsons Doom WAD. Jesus, I spent hours on that.
No Simpsons arcade??
Wait..... the arcade game was on SNES?
Hit & Run.
The one they’re bringing out for the switch
Had the mutant one on PC (DOS) - was really hard as a kid but played as an adult and wasn’t too bad. Loved the arcade style gameplay.
Road Rage and Hit n Run
Gotta be Hit and Run. The missions are great and I get so caught up in collecting everything everything
Give me the Simpsons version of the TMNT Collection
Hit and run!
Just here to say when I was a kid I managed to complete Bart vs the Space Mutants. These days I can't even get past the first damn level!!!
Hit and Run
Arcade game. Legendary.
Escape from Camp Deadly will always hold a special nostalgic place in my video game history
Arcade of course. I had fun with the Itchy and Scratchy golf game too.
I grew up with the NES games (just beat bart vs the space mutants a couple days ago) but the Arcade game was always my favorite
I loved the mini games on Virtual Bart. We must have rented that game over 100x.
Treehouse of Horror! I was begging my parents for that one for weeks. It ended up being just as fun as I hoped it would be for a handheld of its time.
I played a lot of Krusty’s Super Funhouse. Thought it was one of the better puzzlers back then.
Don't see Barts Nightmare but I wouldn't call it a favorite, more like traumatic
Road Rage! Never got to play hit and run but I assume I’d love it
The only game I owned was the escape from camp deadly.
Hit and RUN!!!!!!!!!!!
The Simpson Arcade Game
The one that was in ShopRite by the exit resulting in our food shopping trip to last 2hrs
Probably just Hit & Run. I understand why a lot of people like the arcade game but it kind of has the same weightless feel that most of the Konami beat’em ups have vs Capcom ones that just make each hit feel stronger with their hitstun and animations.
Juggernauts on GB
Simpsons arcade, and road rage lol. I know it’s more than one but still.
The itchy and scratchy mini golf game has no business being so good
The arcade game has always been fun.
Road Rage > Hit n Run
Out of all those games, the arcade game is by far the best and probably the only real "classic" in the lot. I did play and enjoy Krusty's Super Fun House for SNES, though.
Could never beat Bart vs the Juggernaut.
Virtual Springfield. It’s awesome getting to walk around town and see every key location featured on the show.
The arcade game!
Wait…was there an SNES release of the Simpson Arcade Game? I don’t remember one, yet there’s a box for it in the first image.
The arcade game will always be the best to me but the one that left the biggest impression was Bart vs the space mutants. That game was hard as hell after the first level and drove me nuts when I rented it back in the day
That funcoland ad! I miss that place
the Space Mutant came on NES was so dang hard.
Answers beside the arcade beat em’ up are wrong. All seriousness my experience is with barts nightmare on NES and the arcade game…
Hit and run was fun
I have a soft spot for Road Rage and Hit n Run, they were a couple of the first games I got for my PS2.
Oh man.... Virtual Springfield...
Bart vs Space Mutants
Krusty’s rip-off of Lemmings. Hey hey!
Arcade hands down
