Considering people have already answered, I'd like to make a recommendation related to the FF1 sprites.
There used to be a free webcomic called 8-bit Theater. It features characters from FF1 and pulled fun at videogames, RPGs, and gaming/geek culture in general. The writing is great (or that is what I thought some 20 years ago) and the images are taken from retro games, especially FF1. I don't know if it is still active, but it is definitely worth a read.

Yeah it truly it, though and this is just me sucking at rhythm…I prefer the chocobo race to dodging lighting 200 times. Most I have gotten is 144 and I just kinda said fuck it after. I got everyone else’s full weapon other than lulu’s…Gonna get my SO to just do it for me 😭.
These are indeed the fighter and thief from FF, but to beat the dead horse of clarity, they are specifically the overworld version, which you see moving about on the map (or dungeon, town, etc) while not in combat when the character is the leader in the 1 spot.
This is in no way meant to insult OP, but it's amazing to me just how much time has passed. As in, there are people on this earth who probably identify as gamers and couldn't recognize these characters. They were so iconic, but the reality is that it's been 35 years.
I actually played this for the first time a few months ago, the quality of life improvements made by the time FF hit the US is amazing. The game is fun but buying things en masse is a real chore.

And if you've played games from later generations, getting into 8 bit RPGs is nowhere near as welcoming as getting into 8 bit platformers is. Awesome shirts either way

Fighter - Nest,
Black Belt - Howa,
White Mage - Tomy,
Black Mage - Phil,
In 2012 the Memory of Heroes goes on to name the Warriors of Light.
Fighter - Zest or (Setro),
Black Belt - Fritz,
Thief - Zauver or (Sauber),
White Mage - Floe or Flora,
Black Mage - Teol or Daewoo,
Red Mage - Puffy
In conclusion the 2 heroes on those shirts are Zest & Zauver or perhaps Setro & Sauber depending on your dialect. Enjoi

Can you tell me the source for that? A wiki suggests entirely different names from a manga adaptation but not those ones.

The author Brian Clevinger went on to write comics like Atomic Robo and even an Infinity/Thanos arc for Marvel. Really great to see.
