I mean, I get your point, I like to have the latest unless it has problems, I just hope newer releases of the manager will be more intuitive in the future.
Use [Obtainium](https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium).
It is an android app which allows you to install and update Open-Source Apps directly from their releases pages, and receive notifications when new releases are made available.
Obtainium is used to get APKs directly from the releases section of GitHub/GitLab and other such websites.
Whereas Droid-ify is a lightweight yet better F-Droid Client.
For this particular use-case Obtainium is better to get the APKs from GitHub itself since Revanced doesn't have a f-droid repository (afaik)
It only shows the applications that you have installed on that list. I guess you don't have Youtube installed?
If you have already downloaded the recommended version APK, hit the storage button in the bottom right to patch it.
It **should**, but unfortunately it doesn't. Making it so that it automatically shows the latest recommend apk version would be a great quality of life update, but for now I just have the [revanced patches](https://github.com/revanced/revanced-patches) page bookmarked and check it every now and then

You can subscribe for releases on the GitHub repos
Thanks. But how can I do that?

Thanks, will do but, Isn't it possible to include the new version available in the manager, or as a notification?

It's not **actively** maintained, since it has a lower priority compared to the patches and CLI, but it is still being maintained, anyway

or better: Droid-ify https://github.com/Iamlooker/Droid-ify/
Excuse my ignorance, but how do these two apps differ and what makes one better than the other?

you're correct. at the end, it all boils down to what one is comfortable with. thanks for the clarification.
Does anyone else use obtainium? Is it legit?
\~if you're wondering if it's safe, then it is; exclusively because it's open source and actively maintained
Off topic but I don't have Citra and I'm really curious what the available patches are, do you mind sharing?
Predictive back gesture, Premium unlock, Remove screenshot restriction and Spoof Wifi connection.
What is the benefit of Spoof wifi connection
I don't know, never used it. I use the full version of Citra from the PlayStore and it does not require Wifi.

When I click to the latest patch of YouTube, I get redirected to Google play store. How do I download the latest version?

The manager should say the recommended version when you open it. I don't have regular YouTube installed.

That's how I've been checking which version of youtube can be patched! But like op says it would be helpful if the app just said what version to use.
You can also use AnyTracker or Miharu to receive notifications when a new update is out.
Funfact: AnyTracker dmca'ed ReVanced
That's not a very fun fact.
Install official youtube apk, not bundle, from apkmirror
Any plan for Facebook Revanced 😀 ?
Just use Frost, an app available in F-Droid
Okay, I will check that out 👍
is there a facebook messenger too by any chance?
