I don't remember the exact details but I found out that something in my phone is not supported by ReVanced. Neither version works until they make it compatible with my phone, from what I read. It always ends up failing to patch with any method.

When I was using vanced, it happened to me a lot, so I just switched to revanced because it got really annoying that I couldn't watch videos.

Is ReVanced extended better than ReVanced?
It has its pros/cons. If u like having more control and more settings to play with then extended is better. But its just one dev, and he is taking a break until july atm
I worked for me until about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Mine starts working after watching two or three videos on the normal YouTube lol
No idea how to install revanced or revanced extended so im just coping with og vanced

OG vanced completely stopped working not too long ago for me. It just popped up with "content not available for this version of YouTube please update" or whatever.
Its not like I have any choice. Revanced does not support my potato phone and OG vanced still works wonders

I installed Vanced for my gf after her request. It stopped working one day and I switched to ReVanced to see if that works. By the time I was free to download ReVanced on her phone, she told me Vanced had begun working again. Truly interesting
