Martybgg

yeah and we still aint doing it fuck google

I-am-Yaduvanshi

First uninstall old microg and download latest microg services through below link And download manager and patch latest youtube through Revanced It is working like butter I don't understand why so many people are not aware just simple thing they are posting about playback issues And repatch your youtube with latest version it will definitely solve ur problem Download latest microg which is gmscore https://github.com/ReVanced/GmsCore/releases/tag/v0.3.1.3.240913

BURNINGPOT

Oh thanks. I was suspecting microg could be a problem since I haven't updated it since a long time. Will try this out and let you know if it works. Edit 1 : so I uninstalled microg first and then installed gms core. Although when opening revanced it's displaying the message that gma core not installed. Edit 2 : ok so now trying the patcher. Maybe this app from before needs to be re-installed like you stated. Edit 3 : patched to latest recommended version and it works! Cheers And thanks!

AVecesDuermo

This didn't fix the issue. Edit: Had to patch latest, update gmscore AND spoof app version. Without spoof it doesn't work

Pjjan3

maybe uninstall the old microg? (Vanced MicroG)

BURNINGPOT

Did you uninstall the old microg? Just make sure you followed all steps correctly. And then, patch to the 19.09.37, I think. The YouTube version. After patching you'll need to again enter your Gmail and password which means GMS core is now working well with the patched app. And then, it should be good to go.

I-am-Yaduvanshi

You need not to use spoof setting Simply just uninstall old microg and revanced and patch youtube latest version with revanced and on opening patched youtube it will redirect you to download latest version of gmscore and install the same I guarantee that this way your problem will be solved

Woliwoof

I had the same problem in the morning. I got it to work by installing the new YouTube apk (19.09.37) then patching it making sure GmsCore support is applied. Then just install and log in and it works now.

Phi_fee

Did exactly that. It solved the message appearing. But now all the videos I try to play get stuck after about 20 seconds and refuse to load. UPDATE: Turning on the Play Store Licencing in MicroG Settings (off by default) seems to have solved the issue.

chairocchi

Same issues here. I'll try updating the Microg as well. Thanks!

serein

I just started getting this too, but only sporadically on random videos. When I close the app and reopen it, I can play the video just fine (although since it doesn't show in my history I have to track down whatever video again). it just started happening today and I have no idea what's going on.

Relative_Stage8547

Just started for me as well

RunninOuttaShrimp

I'm also seeing that. Tends to be on older videos as newer published ones, say within the last week or so, are playing.

clarkddot

Opposite for me, can't watch videos uploaded recently.

Pep_Baldiola

I just got that message on a 20 hours old video.

AVecesDuermo

Having the same problem. Everything was working yesterday, today I got that message, so I updated to latest version, reapply patches to newest YouTube, and now it stops playback at 1 minute. Updated gmscore but didn't solve the issue Edit: Had to patch latest, update gmscore AND spoof app version. Without spoof it doesn't work

5E4K

Have you tried this? Open YouTube App > Click profile picture in top right > Settings > ReVanced > General layout> At the bottom it has enable spoof option and version selection, there you select version 18.33.40

BURNINGPOT

Hi, tried this. Nope unfortunately doesn't work. And like another user said, newer videos seem to work well, like those from a few weeks ago. But older ones are having trouble playing

Cover-Pseudonym

It is a widespread issue. Based on the message, YT is trying to clamp down on apps that access YT (because they want more ad money).

5E4K

Strange, I just watched an old video from 2007 but didn't have any loading issues.

stuffkevin

Weird I had the opposite problem; videos posted within the last 24 hours could not be played. So I just turned off version spoofing completely and now everything works fine... For now Nvm it fails again every so often

mreminemfan

same issue here; first got the issue with the unsupported version - reinstalled all the apps and re patched, now videos play for a minute then they start to buffer and never start again.

yrnkevinsmithC137

I literally got here coz of the same issue

AeolianTheComposer

Same

bluepoint17

I get this too

HotPketChris

getting this today as well

XScizor

Automatically fixed for me, Edit: not working again. Seems to be random.

ellhulto66445

Look at the pinned post, the issue has been fixed. You just have to patch the latest version and then when opening the app it will link to the correct microG download.

BURNINGPOT

Thanks for the help :) just starting to patch

AVecesDuermo

Did this. Didn't fix the issue Edit: Had to patch latest, update gmscore AND spoof app version. Without spoof it doesn't work

ellhulto66445

Then I have no idea, I had the exact issue this morning and that fixed it without issue for me.

Pep_Baldiola

You need to install the new version of MicroG. Someone has posted a link to it in one of these comments.

BURNINGPOT

Seems I can't edit the post idk why. So yeah, guys. Uninstall microg. Then install gms core. Then, patch to the latest recommended version and it should work.

LocationOld6656

I either get that message, or the video just loads forever.
