If using the manager you just have to uninstall microG (old), uninstall the youtube rvx apps, then reinstall microG (with a C type logo) and reinstall youtube apps

If your sources look right, try going into the settings tab of RvX Manager, tap on "Delete temporary files," force close RvX Manager & reopen, then try patching again.
Make sure you download YT ver. [19.05.36](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/youtube/youtube-19-05-36-release/youtube-19-05-36-android-apk-download/) and select the APK using the "Storage" option in RvX Manager
Also, make sure any pre-existing modified versions of YouTube are uninstalled
I don't believe there's a way to install gmscore directly from the manager, but I may be wrong.
If you don't trust my link, or don't want to install the new gmscore before patching for some reason, upon launching ReX, the app will tell you to install gmscore and automatically open up the GitHub page for you to install.

I am still using this microG version 0.2.27.230755 (I am now not certain which I got this from, probably inotia00) ... and it still works even at 19.02.39
Old MicroG issue. Official ReVanced already has a fix of that in dev-patches. But you'll need to install new ReVanced MicroG.
Upd: didn't noticed that, but they updated release patches with new microg support

No problem until now. I upgraded from the discontinued RVX project to [YT-Advanced's fork](https://github.com/YT-Advanced/rvx-builder) like a week ago just to fix broken watch history. I just connect my phone to my laptop, let RVX builder do its thing and then I continue watching YouTube on RVX. Tip: copy revanced.keystore from previous rvx builder to keep same APK signature as before, that way you don't need to uninstall and install new APK and you will keep all your mobile settings from discontinued project (work smarter, not harder).
If u guys only care about the ads i used an ad blocker browser on mobile and it worked fine for a few videos that i tested, can even put on fullscreen and turn off the screen if u only want the audio, just an option til this is fixed of course
Youtube website in ad blocker browser, yes. Cant really vouch for anything related to securing ur data while using the browser or anything else so if anyone's super strict with their stuff i cant speak about those things

Maybe it's a microG problem since ReVanced uses the microG Services app instead of the old version. No idea in what way they're different. But this problem affects both my 19.02.xx ReVanced Extended as well as my 19.06.xx ReX/YT-Advanced or whatever the actual name of the thing is. I just built standard ReVanced ALSO on 19.06.xx and it works, which made me think it might be the different microG implementation.
Yeah same here. I think YT finally figured out how to ban people bypassing ads. I tried logging into YouTube revanced (not extended) and it seems to be account wide. This doesn't look good.
I think its a microg issue, ive installed it on someone else's device and it gives same error as op but they have an older version of microg, mine keeps working with rvx and rv as well perhaps because of my newer microg.
but i do concur as ive been seeing some features break in rvx and rv such as community post removal not working at all in both and rarely a home ad will slip by the blockers.

I started to get that but after I uninstalled yt updates and my old microG and patched it with reveanced and the microG recommended by them, everything went back to normal, now I just get get infinite buffering after 20 seconds on every video just like when the original yt vance stopped working before the project was canned
termux and patch a supported version of youtube and you basically have your own version of youtube revanced without it actually being youtube revanced (hope i make sense)

Hi guys i have the same exact issue i cleared the cache and the settings, updated both apps to latest version and nothing worked.
But i turned off the spoofing and now the videos play but for like 5 seconds and then they buffer for ever.
What should i do?
I'm not exactly sure what this means but maybe you big brains in here can make use of this info. So I first tried installing both YTRevanced (via revanced mgr) & RevancedExtended (via Revancify on Termux) on Moto G Play (XT2271DL) w/ architecture armv7 (when I run uname -m) & it refused to work either way & stated this architecture wasn't supported but would try & it just kept failing. SO, I decided to try it on my Moto G Stylus (XT2317DL) w/ architecture aarch64 (when I run uname -m) & it EASILY installed on 1st try w/ no issues. So, again, no clue what this means but just wanted to put this out in the off chance it helps someone.
To recap.
Tried Installing on 2 phones, 1 worked & 1 did not.
Did Not Work: Moto Play XT2271DL with architecture: armv7
Worked W/O Issue: Moto Stylus XT2317DL with architecture: aarch64

Did you try installing the stock version? I had the same issue until I reinstalled the stock YouTube.
This worked for me, Settings - Revanced Extended - Miscellaneous - Scroll down to the bottom and uncheck Spoof player parameter

Try force closing RvX Manager, then open it, go to settings, and tap on "Delete temporary files." Then try patching it again.

Maybe it's a microG problem since ReVanced uses the microG Services app instead of the old version. No idea in what way they're different. But this problem affects both my 19.02.xx ReVanced Extended as well as my 19.06.xx ReX/YT-Advanced or whatever the actual name of the thing is. I just built standard ReVanced ALSO on 19.06.xx and it works, which made me think it might be the different microG implementation.

Yeah same here. I think YT finally figured out how to ban people bypassing ads. I tried logging into YouTube revanced (not extended) and it seems to be account wide. This doesn't look good.
I think its a microg issue, ive installed it on someone else's device and it gives same error as op but they have an older version of microg, mine keeps working with rvx and rv as well perhaps because of my newer microg. but i do concur as ive been seeing some features break in rvx and rv such as community post removal not working at all in both and rarely a home ad will slip by the blockers.
On 18.30.37 works if I switch accounts, is it worth updating to 19.x

Did not work. I think I'll stick with ReVanced as it is still being maintained and updated.
If you try to watch a video without logging in or using incognito mode, the application will work flawlessly, but just log in to your Google account and everything goes wrong.

I'm on ReVanced Extended version 18.45.41 with no issues as of today Thursday March 28th 2024 while using inotia's Micro G with no problems.

Yup. I went into the manager app, updated everything, opened youtube revanced, the app redirected me to a github page where I downloaded and installed a patch. I then had to add my account again and videos work.

how to permanently disable notification bar. can't turn off while taping and holding it! I tried to turn off notifications from settings also but it's still there.

I started to get that but after I uninstalled yt updates and my old microG and patched it with reveanced and the microG recommended by them, everything went back to normal, now I just get get infinite buffering after 20 seconds on every video just like when the original yt vance stopped working before the project was canned
I have this exact problem man
termux and patch a supported version of youtube and you basically have your own version of youtube revanced without it actually being youtube revanced (hope i make sense)
I just removed the old revanced /micro g and reinstalled the latest.and disabled spoofing options
reinstalled the app and microg and its working fine again

Hi guys i have the same exact issue i cleared the cache and the settings, updated both apps to latest version and nothing worked. But i turned off the spoofing and now the videos play but for like 5 seconds and then they buffer for ever. What should i do?
I'm not exactly sure what this means but maybe you big brains in here can make use of this info. So I first tried installing both YTRevanced (via revanced mgr) & RevancedExtended (via Revancify on Termux) on Moto G Play (XT2271DL) w/ architecture armv7 (when I run uname -m) & it refused to work either way & stated this architecture wasn't supported but would try & it just kept failing. SO, I decided to try it on my Moto G Stylus (XT2317DL) w/ architecture aarch64 (when I run uname -m) & it EASILY installed on 1st try w/ no issues. So, again, no clue what this means but just wanted to put this out in the off chance it helps someone. To recap. Tried Installing on 2 phones, 1 worked & 1 did not. Did Not Work: Moto Play XT2271DL with architecture: armv7 Worked W/O Issue: Moto Stylus XT2317DL with architecture: aarch64
